  • I've owned both, the Evo is just more fun to drive. The STI is all about grip above fun. As for the Golf R, test drove one, amazed at how slow it was and how much it understeers. Not in the same league by a long stretch.

  • Get the golf r

  • IF THE LANCER EVOLUTION DID NOT DRIFT IT WOULD PROBABLY WIN!!

  • STI is sexy

  • UGLY CARS, fuck skyline is daebak!!

  • The Evo looks better imo

  • Why don't you talk about the cars, what is diferent, ask the drivers opinion...? You just got 2 cars at the track, got similar lap times and said "well, their both really fast cars"

  • People who Like the STI just sit inside of a car opinion Echo chamber and only sit on forums waiting for someone to post of the the probably 3 reviews that say the STI is better ignoreing the countless reviews that favor the EVO. The EVO is better on tarmac and the STI is better on the gravel and snow. Im sorry you subaru fan boys dont get that. BUT ITS PRETTY MUCH HOW ITS ALWAYS BEEN.

  • People are fucking stupid... Look at the numbers online sti is a better car...

  • Look how that STI understeer.....

  • @MrTurbo4G63T Yup the STI understeers big time :/ You gotta put a little extra money into aftermarket adjustable sway bars to get rid of it which is kind of a bummer, also the stock alignment has 0 degrees chamber on the front tires which is silly but Subaru is more safety orientated.

  • evo is faster in allways but i would go for sti for idk what reason.

  • i would choose the oldest subaru ^^

  • I realize this was not a "Scientific" test. I do have a couple of questions though. How well did the driver know the track BEFORE driving the Evo? Was it his first time on this track with the Evo? I doubt it since you seem to do this professionally (Judging by the comment made "That's what mitsu sent us"). But I could be wrong.

Secondly, do you think an MR would have made that big of a difference? I am stuck trying to decide between the 2, as there are benefits to both.

  • @DigitalHallucinagen It wasn't his first outing on that track. He is quite familiar with it.

The GSR is more track oriented than the MR. If you are not planning on using your car on a race track, the STi is the better daily driver.

  • @auto123 Thanks for the quick reply. Yeh, I figured it wasn't his first time on the track, and as for the Track/Daily driver bit, I will never buy an STI, it's ugly and more expensive than an Evo, that aside, I do plan on using the car track side as well as a daily driver, but I am used to a stiff ride and rush hour with a standard. Thanks again for your information, it's been helpful.

  • @DigitalHallucinagen as a person that has owned or driven every model of the evo that was available in the us, but now am more grown up and like cars that are great as a daily and you can take to the track and have loads of fun aswell as taking out some expensive track cars get the sti and thank me later, mr = car anyone can get in and drive, gsr = experienced track drivers car, but crap interior, uncomfortable, more drone and turbo lag, sti = perfect in every category with no questions asked

  • @DigitalHallucinagen I have always heard the MR gets faster track times. Some Review hungout with the team that built the EVO and they told him the MR would beat the Evo 9 MR around a track by more then a second. He didnt beleive them. But it did. The Transmission makes it faster then the GSR.

  • an MR woulda destroyed that subie without breaking a sweat

  • lancer evo start at whatever u want.. i got my evo x 2011 gsr for 30k starting u got to work the dealer or they will work you

  • thumbs up if you think the driver resembles Mr. Bean

  • Cool comparo bro

  • the lancer looks to drift through those turns better,

  • i love the lancers front but i really like the wrx's spoilers and i like the hatchback version too! i have no clue which one to pick!

  • an sti compared to a normal lancer anyone see a problem with that?

  • Evo ftw

  • I like both these cars. both are great machines

  • I love both these cars more than all my family combined, but I have to say the lancer just looks hungry for road.

  • Evo

  • @Ge0vone subaru

  • every year subaru release a newer faster car, every year they get eaten by the evos.

  • i think this guy was paid to make mitsubishi look better >.> i think the sti should have been atleast .1 second faster or atleast the guy didnt know how fast the sti can go

  • sti still sucks ass its ugly

  • no way man 2010-2011 evo < 2010-2011 sti not to mention the evos gas mileage sucks ass & its slower. the sti runs 0-60 in 4.8s stock & it looks wayy better & sounds better with an aftermarket exhaust.

  • why did you put the gsr vs the the best subaru?

  • @blargypaston That's because it was the model that Mitsubishi sent us.

  • @auto123 still i would have wished to see the mr vs the sti, well w/e i suppose...

  • @blargypaston gSr iis faster than theN MR

  • @blargypaston Even the gsr is more expensive than the sti.

  • @Tohafat Not true I I was looking at both and the GSR was lower priced

  • @HBSSTC 2011 Lancer Evolution starts at $34,095. STI starts at $33,995. Look on their websites. (this is for the US versions)

  • @Tohafat Sorry I was off by $100 haha. All the dealers with sti's here must all have options then cause very few were under 40k

  • @blargypaston

What do you mean by that?

  • @814gt that's an evo 9 vs a 2011 sti time....the evo 9 was designed 4 years ago....

  • @oDynamiK Probably-because-its-made-from-jet-styling?-Mitsubishi-did-make-fighter-jets-at-one-point-lol

  • @Twiztid5one3 im talking about production cars....ur talking about lemans....its different....those cars are radically altered and are slammed to the ground to make up for handling and cornering...the engine is also repositioned for balancing....im sure the engineers of the evo and sti kno wut there doing...actually if u look at all turbo engines in production cars...they are used 99% of the time to save weight

  • @Twiztid5one3 are u stupid?....i kno that..its only 180hp engine is weak ...but 0-60 is 4 sec...but its not designed for JUST straight line speed...its a track car...for cornering...hence no heavy ass v8...BALANCE is the key word

  • @Twiztid5one3 the elise is not an everyday driver....like an s2000....u cannot move in it cuz its an "exotic"...it is designed for one purpose...for the track...radio is an option in it.....again its a track car...straight line speed isnt everything...its meant for cornering ...its very balanced...all professionals will tell u that...ur agrument is ivalid..

  • @Twiztid5one3 how does the elise sux balls?...ur opinion vs professional drivers?...i will take theirs...lemans cars are not production cars duffus...and their engines are in the back for WEIGHT DISTRIBUTIONS...again not all about straight line speed...i used the elise as an example ..since it is one of the best handling cars...u understand now ?...KID

  • this video was so useless

  • The older EVOs and STIs look better. Look how they brought back all the classic style American muscle cars. It goes to show you newer doesn't necessarily means better.

  • @gladiatorsworn u must b a kid....v8 engines are heavy....handling is thrown off....4cycl are lighter and balance the car better more handling...its not all about straight line speed kid....looke at the 180hp lotus elise

  • fuck it im gunna get them both

  • @gladiatorsworn In addition to the rally rules, putting a big, heavy v8 in the front of a small car is a recipe for making it steer like a pig.

  • What is interesting here, and listen when i say this please! Top gear has crowned the Evo over the STI year after year. And this may not be scientific but it proves how superior Mitsubishi is to subaru. This is a BRAND new STI model. And its competing with an outdated Evo X thats about to be changed into a diesel hybrid beast next year. The old subaru couldnt beat it, the new subaru sti cant overtake it. I'm sorry, but Mitsubishi is still going to be crowned king.

  • Now pay attention closely. Every EVO past the 4th gen pretty much owns the driver with it's electronic yaw control. Having driven one myself, I will tell you that it takes more skill & patience to drive the STi. What's even more funny about these 'comparisons' is that when they get behind the wheel of the STi & learn to drive it, they pull pretty close numbers to the yaw controlled EVO. Mind you, no STi has ever come out of the factory with yaw. And how 'outdated' is this EVO? A year? STi wins.

  • @DOHCEJ22E1 And-pay-attention-to-this!-Rally-cars-dont-have-yaw-control.-CRAZY!-The-evo-is-a-more-sophisticated-weapon-aimed-to-outperform-the-sti.-And-thats-exactly-what-it-does.-Wether-its-the-Fq300-Fq360-or-Fq400,-Pick-one-and-it-will-outperform-ANY-STI.-Mitsubishi-is-about-technology-and-what-the-car-can-do-for-its-driver.-Not-what-the-driver-is-able-to-do-with-a-car-that-simply-has-awd.-And-if-you-wanna-get-technical,-The-semetrical-AWD-system-in-the-STI-HELPS.A-LOT!

  • Every EVO from 4th gen up has YAW control, which drives the owner around the course, as opposed to the STi, which the owner has to drive around the course. Did you know that under the hands of someone who can truly drive, the difference between the cars is very minimal? It's been proven many times over that the YAW gives the EVO an advantage. Btw, NO EVO has defeated a 22B. None. All FQs have horrible turbo lag, especially the 400. Subaru is about teaching the drivers, not controlling them :)

  • Both car companies have aerial backgrounds. Subaru's parent company is Fuji Heavy Industries, which is also an aerial company (that's why inspires Subaru's ugly front end design/grille).. I think that the older Mitsubishis were the greatest ones. Early 90's Evos were nothing to shake a stick at. Those cars required real skill to drive & were extremely exclusive (not just anyone could own one).

  • @Cloudstrife1188 Enough with the dashes moron! Spaces-do-just-fine.

  • WOW braking midturn at 1:38 lmfao

  • jk. it has mr wheels on it. never mind

  • its funny how they show an mr in the vid but at the 30 sec mark its a gsr version. weird.

  • @gladiatorsworn

back in the day it was ruled that rally cars must be powered by a 2.0 liter engine. and the tradition has just stuck.

  • @gladiatorsworn BS, bigger engine does NOT mean better snow driving, in fact its the opposite, with a bigger engine you'll be more inclined to spin the wheels. and a v8 does the opposite for handling, a big engine means big weight which means worse handling. the evo is still quite heavy for a small car it weighs 3600lbs thats as much as a boss 302

  • @gladiatorsworn cuz a I4 is probs less then half the weight of v8

  • The evo is soo much better than the STi... thats why Mitsubishi is canceling it because it's just such an awesome car. Yah not. More people buy the STi vs the evo.

    STi owns in reliability.

  • @Loscaldazar wtff are u sayiing?? relianility depends on how u drive ur car.. i have to friends that have 2 different 06 sti"s one of them has about 100,000 miles and he already blew themotor.. the other is an asian guy who is still running.. his sti over 100k miles.. it all depepnds on how u drive ur car.. (2011 evo x gsr owner:))

  • @Loscaldazar wrong...I sold my EVO IX MR with 178,000 hard dd/track miles and never had a single issue with it. the guy driving it now has had zero issues as well. STi's are melting down all over the place.

  • looked like he had a lot more grip with the sti then he thought he did

  • error!! Sti vs stock Mitsubishi??... deberia se EVO MR vs Wrx Sti--- aun asi Mitsu gana!!! EVO ALWAYS THE BEST

  • @gladiatorsworn The turbocharged I4 engines are a tradition for these cars and have a fan base that isn't interested in V8s.

  • @auto123 really its because of racing regulations that only allow a 2L engine for rally racing

  • @Intrepid4576 The 2011 WRC regulations have shrunk this to 1.6L . This is one of the reasons why the EVO and STi aren't competing anymore.

  • @auto123 Which makes me sad not seeing them making improvements through rally any more.

  • @SugarlessRider They would need to produce a smaller car than the Impreza.

  • the faster evos are not the x but the evo 9. so if it was between the 2010 evo or the 2011 sti i would pick the sti

  • freez at 02:04

  • well this helped me alot....now im more counfused as to wichone to buy...fuck

  • That dude drives that STI like a grandma. What a disapointment.

  • @ErockBitchess Just the STi showing it's understeering over again. Some things never change

  • EVO

  • dosent help i'm wondering EVOX or STI evox are more rare then sti the then the look from the back is ugly the sti looks like a grand pa car mmm

  • I've driven both last week to make my final pick for which one im going to buy and I decided on the STI don't get me wrong the evo was a great thrill but I don't see my self driving it every day and the occasionally taking it to the track the the sti... evo= weekend warrior but I need a DD so STI is what im going with just my .02

  • I think the Evo is better cuz u can see how it drifts. It takes the turns alot better than the STI

  • a boxer engine is not as advance as the evo which is not flat four777884gjfy568hf7rggdyhryu7ghtuuthghasdfghjkl;'[poiuytrewasdfghjkl;'/.,mnbvcxzasdfghjkl;oiuytrewqbhhhjjjjkrbrtyuiophgfdwertyuiop[hgfdswertyuiop[kjhgfdzxcvbnm,.oiuytrsdfghjkl;'zxcvbnm,.ertyuioxvbnm,sdfghjkwertyuiop[asdfghjkl;'zxcvbnm,./asdfghjkl;ertyuio1234567890-=qwertyuiop[asdfghjkl;'zxcvbnm,asdfghjkl;qwertyuiop[xcvbnmasdfghjklwertyuio23456789wertyuiosdfghjklwertyuiowertyuio12345678sdfghjklwertyuigreat ewvo for allftyujhhfrfdgghre

  • a boxer engine is not as advance as the evo which is not flat four

  • Have you ever seen a flat engine? They're both easier & harder to work on than any inline in existence, especially the DOHC turbocharged versions.

  • No matter what anyone says EVO people will always think EVOs are better (because they are lol) and STI fans will always love the STI...

  • @DudeWithaPage As long as you want massive road noise and tooth fracturing ride:) Ya, it's a great track car, but I'd take an STI or a 335 any day.

  • Evo IX is nice and sharp but it has always been a victim to the understeer that Evo X knows how not to fall in. That means Evo X has better cornering angles for faster cornering, pulls more G's through the corners with its balanced front to rear weight distribution and a more rigid chasis. Evo IX is fierece, but "legend" is only fitting if we talk about it being so overrated in the states. 4G63 made wonderful results over the years. 4B11 does it better. Do your research. I loved Evo IX to death.

  • @EyelessCatharsis

Now I own an '09 Evo X GSR and it feels, accelerates and turns like fucking wonders in ways I wouldn't even know how to explain. Hahaha. : p

People who'll post opinions about the Evo X vs the STi sedan should at least try both cars for a couple of times to talk about them.

  • the IX is a legend. The 4g63 pretty much owns the 4b11. AS of right now, i'm more into the '10-'11 widebody sti's just because i'm not a huge fan of the EVo Xs.

  • the subaru feels very nicely done the cabin is tight built the seats are more confortable it has a lot more options standard than the evo even torque dist...is better looking the sedan...the flat 4 engine has a lower center of gravity than the evo so it must be a lot more stable at high speeds not in small tracks...the only problem I found with the subaru is the engine bay there is no room to work everything is very tight...but the subaru has a better chasis balance...and that is proven.

  • I have never driven any of this cars...I have sat on them and check the engines and stuff and it seems that the evo is more focus it has no luxuries the driving position is almost perfect for someone like me 190lb 6feet I could fit my work boots easily on the pedals...the cabin is very spacious the car feels solid and the best part is the engine bay there is so much space you could work on that motor very easy!...but then again i got into the subaru and

  • Fan of both of these cars, Test drove both of them recently and id have to give it to the evolution for the better driving experience mainly because it seemed to handle better, more responsive.. if only it sounded like a Subaru!

  • Nurburgring: "The Best Test Track in the World "Inside Line" - True test of a cars capabilities. For the modern sports car, a quick lap time at the Nürburgring has become a rite of passage, the automotive equivalent of a first kiss.

    2011 Subaru STI - 7.55

    Last EVO IX tested- 8.11

The Nurburgring as it is more commonly known is possibly the most well known and respected race track in the whole world. If the EVO is a better track car - prove it. Backyard tracks don't matter.

  • @814gt

exactly, itès an evo 9, th ten is much better and much more focused and improved than the 9th generation

  • @814gt it wouldve been nice to get those numbers if they used a stock STI tho

  • @NemusAurelius I agree, but the car that tracked has been at several autoshows on display. Looks like mods to the turbo and suspension shifts. Do you know what they changed?

  • @814gt i dont know specifically what else they installed in the engine, but i noticed there was a roll cage inside of the car they used for the nurburgring. But if thats all they added then those are pretty good numbers.

  • @814gt Because everyone can just go track their car over in Germany right?

  • @Nebrida23 I wish. However, it's the best track in the world that mimics true driving conditions.

  • @814gt the day the evo was tested the track conditions on the nurburgring were not ideal..the car was sliding at the first few corners and the driver constantly said that he couldn't go flat out beacause of the semi wet circuit...i;m not saying that the evo would be faster but the difference between the wouldn't be 16 seconds...it would be at least more like 6 seconds...

  • @leoapoelellas Evo is a great car. I've had the pleasure of driving both. I own a 2011 wrx limited. Evo drives itself really. Active yaw control made turn ins very controlled. Subaru was a bit harder to drive, but once you get it right, it was a blast on track. It's more displacement for me. I just love the sound and feel of the Subaru 2.5. Smoothe and pulls hard. Can't blame anyone for getting either car. Both a lot of fun.

  • @814gt couldn't agree with you more..all you said about the subaru are rigth..i just like the evo more because it's sharper and more focused...but chosing between those two cars is impossible and really you cant't go wrong whatever choice you make..they are the people's supercars.enjoy your subaru man..you've got a great car :-)

  • @814gt

While I'm a hardcore subaru fan. Do keep in mind that the track conditions at NurBurgRing is always varying. So part of the track that is wet could have a factor in slower times for the EVO.

Now of course 7:55 for the STI is still impressive and I want to sell my soul to get one. :)

  • @814gt its well known that the 2011 STi tested on video from subaru was modded with better brakes and suspension for that particular video, it was not a standard production 2011 STi. lol go figure.

  • @Evo2nr90 Evo has been modified also for the the 8:11 lap time. I like both cars, just can't compare the sound of the subaru engine and the seating position in the evo was nauseating for me. A lot of computers get the evo to do what it does, not much for the driver to do.

  • @814gt just watched that 8:11 lap time on the evo IX. it was not modified and it was very wet and slippery that day. The driver even said it was too dangerous to push the car and he was slipping on numerous occassions.

  • @Evo2nr90 post the link.

  • @814gt You Always Seem To Have The Top Rated Comment Everywhere i Fucking Go, Good For U.... Bastard lol Keep Em Coming, STi Ftw Btw.

  • @814gt EVO VIII FQ 400 = 0 - 60 MPH in 3.5 sec, .. overall the evo is the one to go with.

  • @RaggaDnB Based on a 0-60 time? Dodge Neon srt modified posted 3.4 0-60. Should we go with that?

  • @RaggaDnB Dodge neon srt posted a 0-60 of 3.4, should we suggest that car?

  • @814gt Even with the 0-60 in 3.4 on the Neon, it would'nt stand a chance in all out race around the corners, again, the EVO FQ has a 2.0 liter engine, and yet output immense power, props to the japanese.

  • @814gt

K so you make a comment about a true track but you take one 2011 vehicle and one 2008 or less vehicle? That makes alot of sense. 2011 evo vs 2011 sti, it's already been done professionally and the evo one.. deal with it!

  • @ryanjoslin I'm sorry you misunderstood the post. The last Evo testing on Nurburgring was EVO IX. If a newer model has been tested, please post the official time. Putting !!! after your point, does not make it true, just shows you're angry. What "professionally" are you talking about. If you're referring the video post on this thread...the cars were even.

  • @ryanjoslin if you are refering to the Top Gear test, they used the evo x with 60 more hp. and not the one with similar hp to the STi. (next model down and still more money than the STi)., against the older 2010 STi without the new suspension they put in, in 2011. If you watch the whole video, they say that the STi was faster around the track dispite the 0-60 times and skid pad.

  • @ryanjoslin Both cars are 100% equal for the msot part. It almost comes down to which oen you like the looks of more. Evo hasn't beaten the subura sti's nurburgring lap time and the sti was faster aroudn the top gear test track in 2009 or 2010 i believe. I personaly thing both are amazing cars and both are worth the buy i just prefer the looks of the sti and the sound of the engine and exhaust ocne aftermarketed

  • @rholt370 all people who say or like the looks of stis are crazy check out rear of those stis ugly

  • @lalaevo Check out the front of ur evo........pure shit. just as ugly as the back of the sti. If u paint that shitty ass chrome piece in the middle of the back it looks alot better.

  • @rholt370 the front of evo x are so deadly it will surely swollow up a sti hole

  • @lalaevo Broski evo is ugly. Sorry but the older models of both cars were alot better looking.

  • @ryanjoslin So if the evo one the 2011 matchup please send me the link to the article or somewhere there is proof. Thanks

  • @814gt You didn't mention that the 2011 STI they tested was upgraded with a bigger turbo and better brakes as well as lowered. 2 Sides to everything.

  • STI suppose to be a rally car for all road surface. This test doesn't do anything. EVO is not a better car, it's just made for road now.

  • human/ random error..... you need proper lap timing equipment

  • here this must be good for you

    watch?v=I7hdsyT16L8

  • The new EVO looks weak, I like the EVO IX more. The STI just best the EVO by both its look and its performance.

  • one thing i can't understand is that why the 2011 (which is a 305 hp car) is a millisecond slower than the evo x (which is a 291 hp car)??? even the 2007 sti was a little bit faster...

  • @bonzie1645 Dual clutch transmission. Faster shifts give you the edge. Personally, I prefer a clutch. But, if you race your car on the track, hard to beat the dual clutch tranny.

  • @bonzie1645 the evo has more torque. horsepower has to do with the top speed...

  • dunno what some of you guys are bitching about. Sti here in canada is cheaper than the evo, MUCH cheaper. the Sti is a better daily driver and more practical. The Evo is slightly faster (as proven in the vid) on tarmac tracks. But im certain that the Sti will beat the evo in a rally course or off road. Both cars are great. Buy whichever suits ur needs. I personally love the Sti more

  • I'M SO CONFUSED, I DONT KNOW WICH CAR IS BETTER!!!

  • My Evo has almost 300k miles and no really major problems, only the regular maintenance and some little stuff that eventually wears off, so that's me I can't say nothing bad of subarus since I never owned one, but I know this for a fact all jap cars are reliable and made to last that's how we beat most brands at least here in America jap cars are more reliable than American cars.

  • I went to the dealer to buy a 2010 STI and walked away buying an EVO..... The STI just felt loppy to me.... Still love both.

  • Subaru has a much better engine sound,is more reliable and is way more fun to drive

  • wow

  • WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THESE CARS THEY USED TO LOOK BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

  • @steezysteveyo AGREE!!!

  • subies do sound awesome but i hate the new look of the sedan.. the older ones or the hatch look much better.. but evos performance is jus excellent and looks friekin mean

  • Both cars are great. Like wtf is with all the bickering about the 2 ? I own an STI, I bought it because it was good value, Heavily modified, sounded great. I am a huge mitsubishi fan though and does not mean I would take an sti over an evo. Both are great... Buy whatever you like more, and make it the way you want it. I personally fell that the evos I have drove are better than the subarus I have driven.

  • evo 10 been out sense 2008 and a 2011 sti just keep up with it and not smoke it

  • Get the MR and the STI would have lost.

  • The evo lost its exterior looks. It doesnt look as good as the EVo 8/9 or even before. I'm a fan of the 4g63 so i would also say that it lost its performance also.

  • Нахуя сравнивать 2011 и 2010 год?

  • Why is everyone fighting over which is the best car. They are both great cars, so just buy the one you like more. Personally I chose the 2011 STI and I love it but the EVO is great too...

  • @davidhaagsma I know right!? But nothing touches my 2011 Mustang GT

  • @WWEVOIX Im not flaming the Evo X. It is a sick car and is better than the STI out of the box as a "race ready" package. But you cannot sit there and honestly say that the clutch in an Evo is GOOD. I know many people who have the 08 Evo and a few 10' Evos and all of them are on their second clutches. One went at 25000km and the others went before 50000km. If you daily drive and have fun from time to time with a stock Evo clutch. It will NOT stand up very long. I dont believe that one lasted 75k

  • @ridedownhill its because the evo has a dual clutch....!

  • @EVOLUTIONSTi023 I dont know where to start correcting you ahah....?....the dual clutch is an "automaic" transmission. You cannot replace clutches in those. They are similar to a Ferarri set up and I havent heard of any of those failing. The clutch in the GSR 5spd is what has been failing. It isnt a good high performance clutch like the STI's is.

  • @WWEVOIX

Im not flaming the EVO. Its a sick car, and is definately more track ready out of the gate than the STI. For the clutch thing, you do one good launch on the Evo X and the clutch just gets murdered. I dont know if I beleive you about ppl with 75k on their clutch because every single person that I have asked or known have put in a new clutch before 50k. If you drive hard you will not get past 50Kand that is why you buy this car. You cannot sit here and honestly admit the clutch is GOOD

  • And if you do own these cars, i hope you have lots of money because you are wasting it. If you buy this car, chances are your a novice at any kind of unnormal driving. You pay so much on insurance and gas, and if you wreck it because you don't know what you are doing, your no bueno. Just stick with a normal daily driver. Don't work just so you can have a nice car and are able to eat off the regular menu at Chili's once a week. Use that money to get a better home, girls love homes too!

  • @joshuatree1001 Well said. I have a 2010 forester xt limited, 2011 wrx limited and I still have guys telling me how amazing the evo is. I say the same thing you do...I have a house, 2 cars and want the best performance and safety for my money. Stick with subaru and leave the mitsu's for the kids.

  • @814gt Best performance for your money? Dude Car and Driver Lightning Lap - February 2011

    Virginia International Speedway lap times

    Mustang GT 3:08

    Mustang V-6 3:12

    Mitsubishi Evo 3:10

    Subaru STI 3:12

2011 mustang V-6 has the exact same time around the track as an STI. GT beat it by 5 seconds.. huge margin.

  • @Headshot426 You're right. For this track. This is very new for a mustang. 2011 stock mustangs handles better than any mustang in ford's history. Each track will post different results, depending on the amount of banking (upward angle), tire pressures etc.. 2011 wrx sti did a 7:55 at nurburgring. Lighting Lap- for car and driver is interesting. If the 2011 Mustang V6 or V8 does 7:55 at nurburging, please post this. That's worth posting. Good luck in the snow too!

  • @Headshot426 Hell yeah.. I love that you found that.. lets talk about MSRP.. v6 mustang 20k less, 5.0 10k less than the STI haha

It's insane how well off that v6 stang is..

  • @TheTrentimus Search "2011 lightning lap LL1" LL2, LL3 etc. They've posted good videos of the reviews.

  • @Headshot426 dude thts probably a nascar track. the gt has 410hp. tht is horrible for tht power margin. also, power is cheap. if subaru want a 450hp sti stock from the dealer it would cost like wat 6 grand more. mustangs dont have only class or quality. hear u pay for performance and quality just like in am m3 or ferrari.

  • @JendrusZbojnik you're an idiot. STI has a poorer quality record than the mustang... and class? Didn't know boy racers were classy!! thats laughable dude. Go drive a new premium mustang and tell me the soft touch interior isn't superior to the rattle-trap STI.

No more kool-aid for you fanboy.

  • @Headshot426 ur the idiot almost every1 in knew tht had a mustang complained except the 1 tht worked for ford. i havent really met any who complained about a subaru or evo so stfu.

  • @JendrusZbojnik you don't know anyone kiddie. now shut up. Make sure you make it to homeroom on time tomorrow.

  • @Headshot426 i know more ppl than u. ty kurwo. ic sia jebac pedale
