ok so what i don't understand is this....ok so if it was an accident and the driver didn't see him or probably did fall asleep while driving then hit this guy knowing it was an accident why not come forward and at least help the guy some kind of way. I know if it was me i sure wouldn't wait years and knowing i might have caused this to happen to this man I'd come forward and explain myself. Geez.

Under the assumption the trucker was going to murder him in my book its his fault for not knowing who the trucker was. I think hes just looking for someone to sue. i don't think the trucker did on purpose. if he was some psychotic killer than he would've been like the ohio prostitute killer. most truckers carry a weapon with them for protection if they really wanted jay dead they would've searched every inch of grass miles down till they found him and put a bullet in his head. the truckie prolly was asleep and woke up the moment he heard he hit something and couldn't see shit so just kept driving until he decided to stop and check it out.
