  • Thanks for posting this. I was thinking of using paypal to receive payments only, but now I'm not likely to use them.

  • @zozanday New paypal hack on my channel!!

  • everytime i call in , CREEPY PHILLY LADIES ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY FROM THE PHILIPINES AND THEY get paid from the USA for 50 cent an hour . CHHHHEAP SERVICE, GETT IT.

  • Paypal cant stop a chargeback.. they can try to fight it but the banks have the final say!

  • Hi Terry,

I read this story you told only a few days ago on "Scam or not scam".

Its nice being able to watch and listen to the actual person involved telling the story.

I too have just recently been conned selling an item on eBay then systematically being screwed by PayPal. My question is:

I Just wanted your opinion on whether to torcher the bastard who ripped me off first or should I just put him out of his misery?

  • paypal = Mafia

  • you should have just deleted your account because of a scam in process so it couldnt go through right wouldnt that work

  • you should have just deleted your account because of a scam in process so it couldnt go through

  • I am going thru this right now with a scam buyer. Trying to get a chargeback and has NOT sent me my item back. I am soooo waiting to see if paypal will give this idiot their money back. I am file a complaint with ic3.gov also.

  • Is it possible for paypal user that use "send as gift" as a scam?

  • did paypal screw your credit ?

I got hit by paypal for 663 us dollars and i'm planning no to pay them but i'm worry for my credit... please let me know what happened to you regarding your credit score.

  • ebay made thousands off me, then got greedy decide to fuck me over paypal chargeback

    hello CL were done

  • wtf they make you pay to fight on your behalf complete shit!!!

  • theres a form at the post office about mail fraud you can fill out to have a sheriff serve the scam buyer. if the buyer or paypal doesn't want to end up in court, they will be more than happy to cooperate with you and send your money back :) spread the word. trust me, putting fear in them works

  • your soooooo right !!!!! dude thanks for taking the time to post this video. All anybody has to do is buy something on ebay and file a complaint and say item not as described, and ebay will automatically place a hold on your paypal account w/o even contacting you. Ebay's buyer protection is fucking over the seller, so if your a seller on ebay your working for nothing and donating your stuff to scumbags who make a living scamming on ebay.

  • Paypal is italian.. I think.

  • Hey are you gay

  • fuck the usa money greedy companys

  • those bithchest stoke 100 dollers from me fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkyoooou

  • They tried to Jack me for a $20 charge, I called and they removed it. Thankfully.

  • i know what this guy is talking about he is only 1 in very many the same thing happend to me i dont trust paypal atol wat they do is wait til u have a good amount of cash in ur account then they freeze ur account for 180 days without no reason atol.

they freeze it in order to make intrest of ur money.

i relly hope 1 day paypal will get shut down they are just 1 big worldwide legal scam

  • use a pre paid debit card to open a bank account through paypal NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT

  • Get a subpena from your courts and see what I mean the bank or card company will tell you what paypals stance was and 10/10 they controlled the money not the card company!!! You will be shocked!

  • Paypal did not FIGHT for me at all they simply sat there while I got scammed and let the buyer send me a fake item and take my money! And yes they charged me $20 to screw me over!!! Paypal is a scam as well as ebay they are one and are all criminals!

  • I sold an authentic Roger Maris autographed baseball for $2000.00 Paypal told me once I received my Chargeback for this amount I would be protected, only to tell me immediatley they found in the buyers favor, The buyer was going to keep my item, I got on the phone and forced paypal to call him and obtain shipping for the item. I got a fake version of my item back! Come to find out paypal found in the buyers favor not his card company! The card company officially denied the claim for the buyer!

  • i bought something on ebay and paypal took money out BUT double charged me and told me theres NOTHING they will do to give me my money back. THEY ARE THEIFS

  • PayPal is a scam, they also steal money when you do an currency exchange. When I buy on eBay-com they take more money from my swedish krona than what it is worth on the exchange market. So instead of paying 20 dollars I end up paying 22 dollars. 20 dollars goes to the sellers and the rest they keep, but the seller also has to give a small percentage of the 20 usd to paypal...

  • Keep seeing people complaining about this. In some cases people never even get their item back its ridiculous.

  • I just got robbed by Paypal today! This DEADBEAT loser (ebay name stkwireless) bought not one but TWO 32" flatscreen televisions from me. AFTER I shipped them out he emails me saying, "I ordered the wrong model...sorry about that! I'm just going to refuse the delivery." I told him sorry, but I do not accept returns, as stated in my eBay ad. That motherfucker refused the packages so I was charged not only for the original shipping but the return shipping as well! $154 and Paypal backed him!

  • craigslist is mush safer

  • EBAY SUCKS!

icybid.com - Best Ebay Alternative Auction Website - No Listing Fees, No Fees When Your Item Sells Either! START SELLING FOR FREE NOW!!!

  • i bet it was a mexican??? :{)

  • Never accept Paypal for more $ than you are willing to donate to a thief somewhere on Ebay

  • I WILL JOIN!

  • paypal sucks u should sue

  • We should all fight them where it hearts and bleed them to death in their fat pocket while we all suffer.file a case against them in the court, calling the trading standards to complain,go online and file to watchdog site, report this to all computers magazines into the readers letters and let gangs in ebay and paypal feel the pain that we all in because of them.

  • paypal always uses morons who have no idea about anything more than keep your expensive call longer and they have no idea nor any authority to do anything, once you got in trouble and your money out thee is nothing you can do unless lots of proof and take them to court.the best do not use ebay or paypal they are own by the same crap both are thieves

  • wow paypal is pretty cheap i mean that is rediculous that the guy did a charge back without sending the amplifier, you should bring this to court with PAYPAL.

  • This doesn't relate to the chargeback thing, which is sucky, but if Paypal still has you in collections you can dispute the debt. You're protected in collections situations by federal laws under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and some states have additional protections. You might find a useful book from NOLO. The best way to contest a debt is to make all your arguments by written letter (saving copies of course).

  • i was busted today with 40$ .... i hate that guys they are steeling from others

  • im very sorry this shit happened to you man.. you look like an awesome guy.. but i guess the internet (altho fun and stuff) can be just horrible at times :( id like to talk to you more about this stuff tho, i REALLY wanna start my own business and i wanna keep this shit from happening to me just as it did you :(

  • I'm thinking about selling items on Ebay and doing my homework via youtube.

Many people have brought their horror stories about paypal but have not provided a viable solution.

So, what is the alternative? What is the best payment vehicle to avoid being scammed?

  • sell on craigslist and get cash in hand. Sell for 10-20 percent less then ebay and your items will sell quick. The 10-20 percent will be saved by having no fees. So in essence you will be making the same amount of money with no dangers of losing it.

  • I would be new to craigslist as well. Wouldn't you face the same danger of being scammed? How do you set up payment terms?

  • craigslist is local and you meet in person. just only take cash and you can't get scammed.

  • @huge2na Agree, Ebay is too paypal centric and now they outsourced their call centre to the Phillipines I expect they will become as bad as Paypal.

  • @huge2na @denise9001

Take Paymate and Propay. Both are very cheap on fees (cheaper then paypal) and you will not have to deal with scammers like the one this person is speaking of. When you use Paymate its transferred right to your bank account.

  • @huge2na

I will not sell on Craigslist, too many creepy people out there. I know of 2 people that had bad encounters and 1 had to file a report with police. Nahhh would rather skip that and saw 3 news stories in Ohio where people met at a location and got robbed.

  • @denise9001 Personally I moved to moneybookers as my primary payment processor, I have had a much less stressful life since I made that choice. I am also trying Alertpay. They have also been pretty straight forward so far and niether of them have so far had callcentre people accused of selling customer details to organised crime like people in paypals India call centre.

  • Great video there! I love it when people fight back and I'm a fighter. I'm going to have to subscribe to your channel. ha ha!!

  • they're fucking scam that's for sure, YOU'RE NOT PROTECTED!! They won't give you hints and tips, what you should do, until they ask for a specific document, you dont have it in 7 days they will close the dispute!!!!! AGAIN!!!! YOU'RE NOT PROTECTED

  • how would you even know the customer did a charge back? maybe paypal just says that and takes the money.

  • paypal does this all the time and most people dont know that in the rules and policys that paypal does not allow any charge backs ever, and if they do the credit company eats the bill not like in most cases where the merchant eats the loss due to bad policys! never use paypal , they should be closed !

  • Is your shirt a picture of a marijuana leaf???

  • ADDIDAS SHIRT

  • wtf are you retarded? why the fuck would a marijuana leaf be red.

  • It's not red you idiot. That's just the trace of the leaf. Your the dumbass.

  • first of all never called you a dumbass but now that i think of it you are. why the FUCK would it be traced red? and be black? you dumbass google is your friend. also why would the points on that leaf be fat. you idiot get the fuck out.

  • LOL @ you getting mad over the internet. I imagine to be a really sad lonely individual in person.

  • lol.... the same thing happened to me but even before i shipped the item....i told the buyer that i was "waiting for the payment to clear" but really i was waiting for the funds to go into my bank account and change my account number.......only then did i ship my laptop to him.......a few days later, paypal called me saying that the buyer claimed he didnt receive the item...i said i have the shipping label to prove it, paypal tried to get my account info.....i hung up

  • wow.....did you change your bank account number long before this whole ordeal happened?....remember you have to change your bank account number and your check card number as well n remove it from paypal...n you have to have done it even before you shipped the item

  • Why didnt you just change your your bank account number that paypal has? you just lost your item and plus the scammer got his money back.....just to avoid paypal charging you back. as soon as u sold the item to the customer, tranfer the money into your personal bank and change your bank account number so that paypal wont have a way to charge you. Thats outrageous, if the customer tries to get his money back, then paypal will decide if they want to pay him back from their funds not yours.

  • no osxdude is ebay isowned by PayPal .

  • Fuck Paypal and Ebay!!!!!!!!

  • Hey bud.. your vid made my site!!! paypalblows dot ----- org.... ditch paypal!...

  • How can I contact you?

    Thank you

    Anthony

  • PayPa l= fraud

  • tell you the truth since trying to sell my car and xbox360 on craigslist i found out that scamers are dumb, they mess up when trying to scam u so look out for mistakes they make alot of them, they are so dumb lol

  • DONT LEAVE MONEY IN UR PAYPAL i just got a soof email, of a guy trying to steal my idenity money and my item but the funny thing is i didnt click on the link in the email and i dont have a bank account posted to my account nor do i have a card attached to the account, and no money, so people ask paypal to detach ur account from paypal if u think someone is scaming u, if its not a scam the money goes to ur paypal and u can witdraw if u want, thats why nobody is scaming me.

  • I agree with this guy, the fact is, if you get money, transfer it to your bank asap, if the customer is not happy and your willing to refund, use a creditcard or debit card to refund or a cheque after the chap has return the item, make sure he includes ALL PROOF of postage, they are some real dodgy scammers on paypal and ebay boy owned by the same company who have even been on tv so many times on bbc watchdog, i've lost count, amazon is on the list now of being used by scammers.

  • PayPal is owned by eBay.

  • just don't leave a PENNY in your paypal account thats all :D

  • paypal sucks! i hate that shit!

  • To be honest I'd love to have an intelligent conversation with you to show you how wrong you are in every statement you make but I can't listen to someone who always thinks of himself as the victim. You're the perfect democrat.

  • oh and that comment was made out to

florida995 who has 6 thumbs down and has been marked spam and reported for being a youtube troll....LOL

  • let's hear his side of the story

  • you are 100% correct they are conning b******d

and have took over £20000 from my account in the last 3 years

paypal is only good for buying not receiveing money! but all ebay sellers have to use paypal

    but it sucks at times

  • Interesting story, I am sure it must be frustrating in the extreme. But one thing I don't understand, why is it that PayPal believes you owe them money? Is it because the chargeback resulted in $1200 being refunded to the buyer from PayPal, while you to kept the original payment? I am confused about that aspect - please explain it to me if you get a minute. Otherwise, best of luck with it!

  • This guy is telling the true .Paypal is the worst .Only scammers .They ripped me off almost 5000 dollars from my account and call them up several times but the answer is always the same

    PAYPAL SUCKS

  • wats better then paypal?

  • I know exactly where your coming from with this video.. I have collection agency's calling me because of the same sort of issues.. I refuse to pay them. I didnt commit th fraud and i keep telling them that but they dont seem to care.

I wish there was something we could do about this.

    Deb :)

  • Good video and intelligently presented. The man may not have started with intent to commit theft, but it seems that is what he in fact ended up doing. Good report and hope Pay Pal starts to listen to there customers and get the security and procedural problems sorted out.

  • Paypal only seems to be good for buying :/

  • NEVER USE PAYPAL! LEAVE EBAY!

People only use ebay & paypal because they are used to it.Take the use of ebay and paypal away & they'll get used to using something else.Ebay sellers & paypal users need to stop complaining and simply unite to make another auction site & payment service a household name.Hopefully we won't help create another pair of monsters.

  • In many cases people are FORCED to use Paypal.

Ebay/Paypal needs to be regulated via anti-trust laws.

  • Well, I don't believe they should be, because people have a choice of not using them. They can use amazon to sell stuff.

BUT I do agree with you on one point, the problem is that they own PART OWNERSHIP of craigslist.

And craigslist is soon not going to be free at all.

    They need to be shutdown

  • selling on ebay is a nightmare sometimes, i had a similar problem once, fortunately the customer lived fairly close, lets just say the cost of 3 new windows far exeeded the cost of the item. they wont try that again.

  • That's what I'm talking about.

  • @michmudflap lol revenge is the best

  • Why the f...k did i not think of that when i got bumped by a customer on Ebay? Next time i will bear it in mind. The resolution system with papal is also not worth a sook. In fact,Ebay is bad enough but when Paypal is involved that's the game over i'm afraid. I've restarted my account with Ebay but i will be more careful this time around, i'll not be taking any sh.t from no-one no way no how!

  • Mac's Painted? Generic Hook Up?...Mcintosh HI FI amps?

  • That guys paypal account will tell you his full name and billing address. When this happens just make a simple call to the local police to file a police report for theft of your property. Once you have a police report you can take him to small claims court to recieve compensation for your damages. If you have all the information you say you do the Judge will probably find in your favor for a larger amount than he stole through his charge-back scam. Thats if you want to take the time. 1400prlynot

  • wow!! that sucks!!

  • To fight Paypal, force the buyers to use Moneybookers, and accept credit cards through ProPay. New Paypal policy, they can hold your payment for 21 days if you are a seller on Ebay!!!!!!!!!!

  • i had a guy buy a case of baseball cards and he signed for them.. he opened the case and went through everything didnt get what he wanted and issued a charge back.. $1200.00 they took from me and he got the case of cards plus my money.. paypal is a joke..so know i waite for him to sell something so i can do the same back..

  • Problem with this is a lot of people on eBay have seperate buying and selling accounts.

  • Assuming you are still an internet seller and you obviously don't use paypal anymore what methods of payment do you accept and which method of payment do you feel is the most 'fail safe', Thanks

  • They should take out paypal chargebacks!

  • you really need to show the listing too everyone for people to make a fair judgement. The FDIC is the way to fight it but not makeing reasonable accomodations lands it back in your lap. So you really need to look at the fact if you let it go your credit is gone for seven years. if your in the right then go through the FDIC and let them make a ruleing and the courts if need be but if your wrong you may find yourself in jail for fraud Paypal tends to take these things all the way good luck.

  • You have two different story's maybe you should delete the old one heh.

  • There are different variables, one video was shot long after the other to clarify things. Since the timeframe of the video changed collections fees were added and other charges such as chargeback fees and shipping. Actual emails are attatched to the original video.

  • You need to provide these videos in any and all topics found in google... for shopping cart software sites such as, creloaded, os commerce etc and warm shop owners b4 setting up with paypal....

SORRY GUY FOR UR LOSS , THANKS FOR POSTING THIS!!!!!!!!

  • Sold two items on Ebay to a buyer, buyer received items and very happy with them. Six days after Ebay tells me to ship items funds have been reversed and taken out of my account. Numerous E-mails, phone calls to PayPal and buyer with buyer saying they payed for items, PayPal claims its the buyers fault. Bottom line seller has no protection for buyer reverse scams. BEWARE!

  • paypal sucks

  • If one day paypal shut down with billions of dollars that belongs to account-holders (or members), ask these simple questions :

    1) Are you protected by law?

    2) How can you get back your money?

It is time for everyone to write to your member of Parliaments and ask them to force Government to comeup with a law to govern paypal and similar companies.

Millions of dollars go thru paypal without protection, what a joke.

Law makers, please wake up now before it is too late.

  • Paypal Chargeback protects buyers more than sellers.

Why American government allows paypal to collect so huge money?

All banks & financial institutions are under Banking-Acts.

Why allow paypal to use the loopholes?

The government needs to protect innocent people, in case one day paypal shut-down with billions of dollars belonging to account-holders.

Everyone, please send a message to your Government, ask them to come up with a law to govern paypal and others.

  • yo whats that guys ebay name so he doesnt do this to anybody else????

  • thats a sick story man. know what u mean.. ebay is..scerwed up

  • Hey huge2na, I have watched your videos about paypal and it has really given me a reason to not use paypal anymore. Instead I am going to use and accept Money Orders as a form of payment. However, what I wanted to know from you was, what if the buyer claimed that they mailed out the M.O. and never actually did. Would there be anything I can do about that to protect myself?

  • Well you don't send the item until you have the cash. They would have to prove that not only did you receive the money order but that you also cashed it.

  • hard to find numbers for paypal, ebay and amazon: search >>> amazoncustomerservice blogspot cliche ideas

  • Doing a charge back or cancelling a check while having an item in his possession is illegal. Possession of stolen property. A customer of myself (not on ebay) did this and we prosecuted.

  • I miss you

i wanna make a nother video

  • I love you Adri, hope to see you soon.

  • hi daddy i love you

  • I love you too sweetie

  • You should have found out where your buyer lives and works. Contact everyone he knows about this, nothing threatening of course. File a police report in his town. I would have given him hell even if I have to throw more money at the problem. The only way to beat these troublesome buyers is to be even more troublesome than they are.

  • I have had the same problem with a mobile phone! but had used a stolen credit card. Paypal are wanting £255 off me as the money was refunded to the credit card as he won the case! I have all the emails I have sent and recieved to paypal, to back me up that I have resonded to them also information from the delivery company I used, I have to make my paypal account balance a positive amount or debt collectors will collect it from my home address

  • i'm assuming everyone knows that ebay owns paypal - surely theres a huge conflict of interest?

  • It's not just chargebacks.

If a seller cannot provide a tracking number then Paypal always reverses the payment back to the buyer. But the is no way to get online tracking when shipping something out of the US.

So therefore anyone outside of the US can buy something from a seller in the US, pay with paypal, RECIEVE THE ITEM, then File a complaint saying that they did not recieve the item. Paypal will side with them EVERYTIME.

  • There is no way around this for sellers, other than to just not sell to international buyers. I sell thousands of items per week, half of my buyers are international. International buyers increase every month with the value of the dollar dropping. I can't afford to lose half of my buyers but at the same time i'm losing $500 a month because international sellers are catching on, realizing that they can recieve the item AND Paypal will give them their money back. No questions asked.

  • Don't know what post office you use, but thats not truth. I'm european and i always tracking my items from US.

  • that was reply to Jonas311fan

  • there are so may complaints about paypal from my point thay need to be closed down it's all a scam but yet the govenments let this go on it's all a scam it's made someone a billionair and someone is getting rippedoff

  • Sued then, you will win. For sure

  • From an economic standpoint, companies like Paypal facilitate online transactions and provide a level of security for buyers, this results in an increase in demand. An increase in demand (more buyers) means that sellers can fetch a higher price then they otherwise could have. It's simple economics. Without credit cards and paypal there would be fewer buyers (less demand) and sellers would have to settle for much lower prices. There are benefits to all this if you look at the big picture.

  • Your presentation is one-sided from point of view of seller. Fact is, chargebacks are a good remedy to protect buyers from sellers who are scammers. The person you dealt with just abused the system.

  • The system that Paypal built? The system that says I will fight for you don't worry. You pay me $20-$25 dollars chargeback fee to fight for you win or lose and I will fight to get your item and your money back. It dont happen buddy. Paypal decides with a one sided coin and for some reason they win all the time.

  • If Paypal fought every single false chargeback vigorously, credit card companies would no longer do business with them. So why do you think paypal just rolls over and gives up? Because if they fought them honestly they would be out of business,

  • I disagree with that one. Credit card merchant accounts hate chargebacks because they worry about having necessary funds in case a business goes under.

Merchant accounts prefer that the seller process a regular refund as opposed to a chargeback.

  • thanks to your video I'll close my paypal acount and also I'll forward this video to all my friends, I play in a band and I know alot of people, they will be happy to see your video.

    good luck.

  • Ive forwarded this to everyone i know. I suggest everyone else does the same. I hate it when the big guys pick on the little guys

  • You do OWE a payment to Paypal to cover the refund they sent to your buyer. Paypal serves as a 'middleman' for your transactions and since THEY have determined that your item is in satisfactory condition you are obligated to take it back. An example of the risk you take when selling on Ebay (or anywhere else for that matter). Simpily declare it as a loss when you file your tax return with the IRS. Surly you have been declaring ALL the INCOME you you make on Ebay. Right?!?

  • You obviously dont know how it works, look at my other video with over 500 comments are you telling me that's just the way it is? Bullshit, Paypal must give the money back in order to accept credit cards. They dont want people to know they are being targeted if they sell high dollar items and accept paypal for payment.

  • You obviously don't know how the world works. Owning and operating a business is full of risks...maybe you should minimize your exposure by selling on Craigslist or in your local paper. Or better yet start your own online auction website. Then you will see the costs that other businesses must pay in order to accept credit cards....equipment costs, monthly fees, batch processing fees, percentage of sales, on and on.....

  • Dont ebay and PP gear their services to the ordinary? Meaning if one had a real business they would use a real processor correct? So you are saying that it is now ok for PP and ebay to to help rip off people selling their stuff. Simply because it is the cost of doing business? I have owned a B/M store. I'd say 93% of people on ebay sell personal items. So they should be ripped off then according to your theory. PP is a brick wall between the seller and their money when a chargeback would arise.

  • I am not saying it is OK for PayPal to rip you off...I am just saying that maybe you should consider accepting checks, money orders, BidPay, or just get your own credit card processing equipment. However, I doubt that 93% of Ebay is personal items...but I would say that the majority of personal items for sale are junk. Thus leading to disputes between buyer, sellr, and Paypal...such as your problem.

  • paypalsucks dot com

    check it out

  • Do not leave your cereal unattended, it will get soggy.

  • Fuck his Head up those guys needs to learn

  • To the seller: Ask youself this question: "What is my time worth?" Let's say $20 an hour. Multiply that by how many hours you have wasted chasing this matter and processing all of the emails, etc. Then the time to email to others from YouTube. You'll find that it's now a mute point. Cut your losses, dude. What does any of this have to do with world hunger?!

  • i was thinking about paypal and after seeing this i im not.. thank you for the information :)

  • I was scammed before too. The seller provided a tracking that was sent to some random place. The bot checked it and said it was delivered so the dispute was on his side and I lost. Plus, sellers aren't supposed to ship to anywhere else than a confirmed address. Dumb paypal

  • Time to find that mother fucker and take the 1400 dollars out of his ass.

  • i made a paypal video too..they robbed me!!! there horrible..i didn't get in to much detail tho..check it out

  • Bologna :D

  • another great video. paypal is a ripoff!! I have made a video discussing this feel free to check it out I am crazeenydriver

I have been selling on ebay since 1999 and have a positive rating over 3000. check out paypalwarning dot com I found that site and you can learn alot there

  • Why did you post these videos, Now your just giving YouTuber's ideas for getting free stuff! Hmm, Where do you go you get PayPal? LOL!

  • You got cut off at the end of the video, Tell me what you were going to say.

  • if you want to open an account in paypal you better talk to your psychologist. It is crazy to have to do anything with pay pal. Poor costumer service, and when you get an answer, you can guarantee it will be a computer generated response. Dont do that to your self, better send a check.

  • Fuck paypal, if you want to reverse charges just use justmayhems "Paypal Charge-back" program. I've used it several times to get my money back when i've been scammed etc.

    w w w . habbovibes . n e t

(I DO NOT CONDOME SCAMMING, THIS PROGRAM IS TO RETRIEVE MONEY WHICH IS RIGHTFULLY YOURS)

  • they took $1200 charge back from me too.. and there was no way i could fight it.

  • I stopped accepting paypal in January because they are the BIGGEST SCAMMERS!

  • You say this is a follow up, but you just tell the same story as in the first video.

  • if you accepted credit cards through another processor you would be given the ENTIRE fee and then been out the full amount of your item.... which would you prefer?

  • Look dumbass, if it were any other processor the chargeback would have never happened. I would have been able to deal directly with them to prove my case. Paypal on the otherhand makes it impossible and they only submit the information for you. They are a brick wall and they dont fight for you. They just keep the information from getting to the credit card company.

  • that is completely incorrect! CC processors don't stop chargebacks from happening. PayPal gets info from you and submits it to the CC company on your behalf but unfortuantely CC companies have ONE customer to retain (the buyer)

you just didnt do enough research into the situation before you sold, your fault

  • No, not his fault. You're wrong. PayPal is constantly working to find a way to suck customers wallets dry. Fuck PayPal, they can go to hell. I've had so many problems with PayPal.

  • PayPal's 10 dollar charge is not to "fight" your chargeback.. Credit Card companies give sellers a fee if there is a chargeback. This fee ranges from about $50.00 - $150.00 (depending on the CC company)

If someone files a chargeback then the CC company will charge PayPal this fee, PayPal will only give you a $10.00 fee because they are NICE and DOING YOU A FAVOUR!
