Ummm... he messed up the shot. LOL I think it clipped the bottom of the frame... which is why the ball went so high and why he stopped moving and just stood there.
his forehand swing looks like federer's except for the follow-through being slightly more spin-based. also, he uses a western grip and doesn't look at the ball like roger.
Ironic that Moya is a natural lefty yet his right hand FH is the staple shot (while his BH is crap). Nadal learned from Moya to solidfy his natural right hand BH and what a world of difference.
Indeed Carlose Moya has a very vulnerable backhand. He's very inconsistent with it and he can't threaten with backhand top spin or speed, he can only slice it. The forehand is one of the best in the circuit though, very much top spin and one of the fastest shots around. He's also got one of the biggest biceps in the tour after Nadal

you can see that he takes his eyes off the ball well before it hits his racket, that's probably why he misses the sweet spot.

It's a shame that Moya also has the worst backhand too. You should never ever alternate between a one-handed backhand and a two-handed backhand

Everyone does a one-handed slice backhand.
I don't his backhand is that bad it's just not as powerful as his forehand
