I think these types of maps should be for attacking or defending cities or forts. And then there are also maps with both sides trying to get across and both building turrets for battles that are not located at cities.
I kind of wonder though... would it be possible to someday get a mixed attack/defense mode? Ie: both sides are trying to get across the map in opposite directions at the same time, so both sides have to attack and defend at the same time?
I don't know if it'd work or not but in my non-developer's brain it sounds neat.
Can't wait for this game regardless - I'll probably buy it the day it comes out.

Sounds like an awesome idea for special abilities and such... Like zeppelin dropped tanks that can be deployed at any location or close air support... Anyway, the game looks brilliant so far, keep up the good work!
