Idiot! Read the god damned manual, I know for all nitro engines, you should NEVER put them in any mud/water. And the amount of water you put your MGT in was... Stupid. My Revo 2.5R was in a light rain, got a few drops of water in the electronics, and I had a run away at 40 MPH, I don't want that to happen to you. Luckily, after crashing into a yard, only a little a arm repair

@Herynomiary Salut, merci pour les compliment :) il n'y a pas vraiment de lien, je te consei d'acheter un modele connu et populaire, et daller sur les forum de discussion pour voir cest quoi les probleme etc...

cest aussi pratique si tu as des questions tu pourras avoir de l'aide :) pour debuter un Traxxas revo est un peu la base, c'est assez durable si tu fait attention. Si tu prevoit grossir le moteur achete un truggy a la place cest plus solide et plus simple a travailler dessus...

nothing happens to servos with water I wash my tuck with tons of water and nothing happens to them I just remove my receiver and put a ballon on the carb (air intake) I have done lots of tests with them and nothing happens with water :D ps. my servos arent waterproof its a stock savage 4.6, and a savage xl :D

@favulus1 My friend didnt waterproofed anything, he just went crazy that day lol they are already in a box i think and water barely touched it, the steerign servo had more water on it though, but it was still working after that... i dont suggest to do that :)

@favulus1 I water proofed my receiver by taking it apart (voids warrantee) and covered it with liquid rubber twice (there will be an air bubble or 2 the first time) and snapped it back together without touching more than the edges of the inner board at anytime and it works perfect in water.. just remember it's not a boat !!!

Other than that, its nice, the engine is powerful but seem to overheat easily.

The MGT 8.0 engine is a little finicky to tune, and overheat easily.

Hey man awesome truck! It goes through the water like it was nothing, does not even start to sound wrong or the engine rpm lowers as they do on most nitro cars / trucks. The Slow-motion scene when it water skipps is totaly awesome, looks so cool!

I took my receiver apart (which voids all warantee) and carefully 'painted' both sides of the receiver card with liquid rubber twice..Allowing 4 hours dry time each time and put a little around the wires goin into the servo and receiver. But don't drive your truck into a river !!!

They does overheat easily, you need to have a good tune to have good power without overheating. I could tune it even more agressivly but it would overheat...

Sorry i dont remember( it was my friend's 8.0) but that motor use a side exhaust, im not sure if it would fit without doing some custom modifications.

Got to love AE power. Nothing like a .50 squeezed into a truck like that. Oh and jeffgoolooie the reason it seems to be doing wheelies so easy is because it is sitting high and the suspenssion is stiff. And it has more power than that Traxass crap you probly drive.

That is by FAR the scariest RC monster truck to drive in stock form. I only had to drive one once to realize that. You are in constant danger of flipping it over from the raw power, or not being able to stop in time to avoid a crash. It's kinda unnerving to drive at first... but I want to drive it again now. Muahaha.

go buy the engine book specs run it rich first and tighten main high end needle screw up to 30 to 60 degrees for max top end.if it tops out more than 45mph your to lean
