that really is a horrible pedal, but electro harmonix's ravish sitari is the best designed sitar effect for a guitar that will probably ever be invented, that is all

i bought one of these and wish i had'nt it sounds nothing like sitar more like a flanger .and ive plenty of flanger sounds in my other effect pedals,A BIG CON DANELECTRO IF U CANT GET THE RIGHT SOUND YOU SHOULD NEVER OF MADE THE PEDEL .I know these were made in the 90's but if u come across one dont buy one if you want the geniune sitar sound and to play it with an electric guitar you need to buy the roland gr33 guitar synth it has a real sitar in the gr33 i have this and its spot

I tried one of these and it didn't sound this awful. Still sounded pretty shitty, but I think you have a fried circuit in that little box there.

Even if I listen to it forgetting that it's supposed to imitate a sitar, that thing sounds awful. The flange is so loud that I can barely hear the notes you're playing. I can't believe they are selling that.

Sounds pretty gross, and nothing like a sitar. I bought a used sitar for $175 that's pretty good and isn't very hard to play.

Alright, it's a bitch to tune. . .but still.

You're hearing it! The guit I play is an early 90's Telecaster Plus. It's got those lace sensors. There are two of em smacked together right by the bridge, technically functioning as a humbucker.

first! YEES! Don't like this pedal, doesnt sound much like a sitar, you might want to try out a sitar guitar. OR an original sitar if your willing to sit down an learn how to play the damn thing
