Good job! However, you will get significantly more power (30%) out using 2 separate blades with partial overlap. This will allow the wind to press on both helixes at the same time (from both directions). Have a look at windside(DoT)com/design for inspiration! I´m on the way to establish something like this. Did you use GFC materials or metal?
if you would google patent US5494407, you would see that you would get much more performance if you would make a gap between two blades. But still, its nice work, i am building something like this too.
Very nice build. I have seen a company somewhere that builds VAWTs very similar to what you have there. I have a few ides for building similar, but havent gotten started yet.

hi, it is DC-540. It reaches 12v at 150RPM. Have not had an opportunity to test it fully yet

There are ways to improve this design more by adding horizontal ribs on those wings. But I have to test that.
