Bono runs a non partisan group called ONE. The goal of the group is to get rid of extreme poverty around the world in this generation. He relies heavily on governments like the USA to forgive debt and provide money for aids and hunger relief. He is not necessarily an Obama supporter. He works with each president democrat or republican to acheive the goal of helping the worlds poor. When Obama is gone Bono will work with the next president. Thats just the way it is. @bonofidefan Hi Yes, U2 does support Obama and did play at HIS inaguration concert ...I was there. I don't think they would have showed up if they didn't support him. . Also, Bono has a clip on youtube speaking with Brian Williams of NBC news about the concert and what an honor it was for them to be there and to be a part of it. Yes, that is support. U2/Bono are liberal at heart. and he walks the talk of compassion unlike many other politicians on the right, not all of them, but most.
