She was NOT impaired , never saw Brittany Murphy on Letterman ? . Equally bubbly . These two are similar , they just both loved life . If YOU think this is impaired you have not seen anyone actually ON something .
You know what's ALMOST sadder than Ms. Fawcett's obviously impaired state?
The fact that Dave was still so quick and 'alive' with his comedy........reminds me A LOT of Conan's early years on his (first) NBC show.
Though Conan still shows SOME signs of life on his TBS show, Dave sadly is now just a shadow of his younger self....pretty much just phoning it in on most nights.

@msdemos Apparently you never watched chasing farrah . This was just the way she was. I am like this , my brain goes faster than my mouth and I appear ditzy when I am far from it .
I saw this episod when it was originally aired. Dave ended the show thanking his first guest for coming (who ever it was, I cant remeber) and continue with "...and thanks to Farrah Fawcett for almost being here" :p
This is the first time I've seen this interview, and really I don't see why she was ridiculed for it. It just seems the audience was esp. rowdy and giggly, and she's just not used to having to try to win an audience back. She's a little new-age hippie in her personality and unfortunately I think Dave couldn't dig in deep enough to help her get her bearings. May she RIP.
The woman laughing in the audience is the best.

This actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Sure she's a little ditzy, but it wasn't the horror show that a lot of people say it was.
