@hellsjester31@hellsjester Get the Xoom because you can use an OTG cable with your USB to get your files. The Xoom is a much nicer tablet to the Toshiba's Thrive pluse you still have the option to use the cloud because Xoom has 3G/4G capabilities.

Hi guys I got a tablet question. I'd like to use a tablet as a secondary device. I'd like to do the usual things and create documents. Because as a student I waste a lot of time on the train and I don't want to carry around my laptop. As I need to print those docs. I need someway of syncing my stuff. What would you guys recommend, get a tablet like the toshiba thrive with USB 2.0 port or use the cloud?
As usual, great video. I hope to get my tablet by the beginning of next year. Will 4G be available on Wi-Fi version only? If so, I most likely would still have to send it in for 4G upgrade...
@TheRappeSide It's a shell game. I keep the ones that matter and sell the ones that don't. Besides this LTE upgrade was free with the original purchase of the XOOM, so this video cost me $0.
Guys just so u know I just got mine back yesterday. I usually use 1g of data a month for work. After I got it upgraded this tab used the same 1g in less than 4hrs. I called Verizon that I want it switch back to 3g but they said I can't. So I went into the setting to switch it back. 4g is not good, its fast but it uses 50times more data than 3g. I'm because using it again
@blazindaz My usage is the same as it was on 3G. 4G doesn't use more data, it's just that the pipeline is bigger than 3G. My guess is that when you got your device back and restored it, it redownloaded all of the apps that you had to wipe off when you factory reset it. So it used up a lot of data to do that. The solution to this problem would be to hook it up to Wi-Fi when you get your device back. After it's done restoring all of your apps you can switch it over to 4G.
@blazindaz OMG! of curse you will go faster that is its propose like Techharvest said its a wider Pipe, now do you have it unlimited? I hope you do because if not you are in trouble my friend!
OMG I work for verizon but this is the first time I actually see this I'm with FiOS and DSL team but this is incredible no wonder people is switching over wireless entirely.
I've got a few questions. 1 do you still plan on purchasing the iphone 4s. 2 are you planning on ditching at&t and making the latest nexus your main phone?
@erving25 After seeing these 4G speeds, I'd love to ditch AT&T. We'll see how the next month or so plays out though. I'm not even a year into my AT&T contract so we'll see if it's worth the ETF.

@hellsjester31 You could use both as many tablets offer mini USB connectors as well.
