I just love the works of Pergolesi. What a shame he died so young, only 26 jears of age. If possible try to listen to his "Marian Vespers" with Sophie Daneman , Noemi Kiss, Choir of New College and the Academy of Ancient Music. (Erato Disques)

I wonder if this is another version for a countertenor since it's lowered a semitone from the normally recorded key for contralto.

The performance is in baroque pitch which is usually down a semitone from A440 pitch (an A is 415Hz)
