I've been using 2006 model premium for about one and half years and I've never had the rrod and I play 2-2.5 hours on weekdays and 3-4 on weekends. Also, I leave it horizontally on carpet floor with about 8-10 cm ventillation at the back. Don't know why people rrod so much with the newer consoles!

falcon did not solve it there are alot of falcons that fail, i have one but it is the newest version of the falcon elite, but it just reduced the chance of rrod alot, then jasper has reduced it even more, but its still not as low failure rate as ps3, never will be
Of course it can still happen but its very less likely to happen with the newer models than with older ones, i still havent got any trouble with mine. i know its not "solved", its almost impossible an electronic equipement having 0% failure, just saying that youre less likely to have RROD with newer models(by the way im not a fanboy)

ps3 rules, although it has a better cpu, read , everywhere they say, that if a game is on the ps3 and xbox 360 both, then the xbox 360 version pwns. it has a better videocard, more ram. the elite is much more beautiful than the ps3. and it has twice as big HDD, which means Hard Disk Drive.
