  • Then Hulk lol'd...

  • tropicvibe, I 2nd that. I was between 8 & 9 years old. They would show a superhero five nights a week, like you, glued to the TV. I agree, memories of a cleaner (imaginative) time.

  • wow these are awesome it's terrible that marvel dosen't show this anymore

  • I remember this, too, but could never find it on here until this evening. I was 10 when this was done.

  • I don't remember Marvel's Superheros, I live in Philly and all I saw was DC Superheros. But since now I'm able to look at these Marvel cartoons, I can see the quality of how much more detail the story lines were. I even like the limited animation and to tell you the truth I rather watch the 60's Marvel cartoons than what is offered on TV now. Today's Marvel cartoon shows I can't into, but this I could watch it all day....

  • Sigo insistiendo en como cambia la tecnología con la animación artesanal de aquel tiempo, es gracioso ver caminar a Namor y la risa inesperada de Hulk

  • i love this valuable find!!!

  • phew this takes me back..i remember watching it as a kid...then it disappeared......

  • Hulk is laughing! Then it is the end of the world. Certainly it is funny.

  • This is the best video found? It's terrible Marvel let that happen to this one and the opening!

  • funny to see the Hulk laughing

  • watched these for years and NEVER saw the opening or closing great stuff

  • Thanks much for putting this up! I had forgotten what the animation was since I have not seen these closing credits in....probably 40 years or so! Robert

  • namor owns, hes a classic

  • Wish this was on DVD!

  • GREAT!!

  • Thanks for posting these. MSH's ROCK!!!!

  • I saw this is at my local library on VHS. I first saw this on WSNS 44 in Chicago in the 70's and then on WFLD 32 ub Chicago in 1988 0r 1989.

  • And don't forget WNEW-TV (channel 5) in New York City where they used to carried reruns of "Marvel Super Heroes" every weekday morning during the late 70's and early 80's.

  • I was so into the comics and the cartoons as a kid in the 60's, but I don't remember them ever being rerun in the late 70's-early 80's. Not trying to start a pissing contest, but are you sure of that? Didn't WNEW change the call letters to WNYW in the early 80's, when

Rupert Murdoch took over and it became the Fox Network?

  • That was 1986.

  • Thanks for the info. And thanks for not being a jerk because someone questioned your comment. There's too much of that on youtube, but I suppose that comes mostly from kids and 20 somethings who have no concept of life before they were born.

  • LOL @ 0:11

  • There just aren't words to express how great this is. Seriously. There just aren't words. This is the greatest thing I've seen in all my internet surfing years. I'm 5 years old again.

  • Fantastic!Haven't seen this since mid-60's and we used to love that show. Great job on piecing this segment together. Love it. Thor was the best (we would throw hammers around the yard), then Iron Man (whose iron suit would change from time to time for some reason), then Capt. American (gargage can lid), then Hulk, then Prince Nemour (he was crabby for some reason). Thanks a lot.

  • i have not seen this since it was on channel 9 back in 1966-68,thanks.

  • Yeah, you remember they used to show commercials for some gardening store in NJ immediately following? One of the early hints that New York 9 would eventually move to Secaucus. Come to think of it, they did already have the studio there, but their offices were located on Broadway.

  • You mean Channel 9 was in NYC at one time?

I remember the independent station (Channel 8) where I grew up (in Upstate NY) did show these in black & white until they were finally equipped for color in '67

  • That seemed to be the case for most independant stations---and even some network affiliates---outside of the big cities like Chicago and the Apple. Hey, people were first BUYING color tv sets in 1966.

  • Yes, well we had our first color TV set in '63 and up through '65, the only stations in the Syracuse area that had color were the NBC ('course) and ABC affiliates - and that was mostly during prime time.

  • Omigosh, I remember that footage clearly but didn't see the heroes walking on a plank of wood that Hulk busts up when he walks on it. I was so young but I never missed an episode, thanks so much. Memories of a cleaner, saner, (somewhat) time.

  • Wow, Its good to hear that someone remembers seeing this. I found this footage with the lyrics in Portuguese and replaced the audio with the English version of the song. I've seen online rumors that this might be the footage from the Marvel Superheroes end credits, so I labeled it as such. I'm still not entirely sure if this footage was created exclusively for Brazilian TV or not. Anyone?

  • It's amazing that actual US footage has not shown up. Its maybe lost forever. Who knows. You did a good job with the sync. 1966 was a good year for kids TV.

  • Oh indeed a great year it was! Think about it: Marvel Super Heroes, Superman Cartoon, Batman tv series, The Green Hornet tv show with Bruce Lee, Lost in Space, Star Trek...and the list of classics goes on...

  • Yes, The Fantastic Four, Shazzan, Spider-Man, Samson And Goliath, The Impossibles, Space Ghost. Shall I continue?

  • Don't forget Soupy Sales, Captain Kangaroo and Mr. Wizard. Without the first two, there wouldn't have been 'Hot Fudge', 'What Would You Do?' and 'Sharon, Lois & Bram', especially the pie throwing parts.

  • Jeff, Thank you for this from the bottom of my heart. I can indeed confirm that this was the closing credit for the show in America as well. It also went on just a little bit longer and ended with the Hulk walking away from us pulling behind him something funny on a string, I *think* it was either a rubber duck on wheels or a tricycle or a wagon. Something like that. I've been searching for this video for years. Thanks again.
