I own the same tool only a slightly earlier model (few years older) and branded as a Craftsman. Personally I only use the disk sander portion using 100 grit paper disks. Fine sanding is still done by hand. Make sure you purchase a quality metal triangle so that you get a perfect 90 degree ange from table to disk, it will make a big difference when you want to be accurate. And have fun!
