  • ahhaah kevin's smile at the end was a great way to end it

  • i like you guys, your awesome - straight to the point and no b.s.

  • @DanielTrongDao for every pound of muscle comes a pound of fat, so 12 lbs of muscle would be 24 lbs in total including fat, which you can tell me isnt a lot of weight

  • U are brother form another mother

  • one pound a month? yea and im jesus... u would be soooooooooooooo lucky to build 10 pounds a year, 80% of us are looking at 5 pounds a year, these guys said they worked out 3 years and built about "15-20 pounds of muscle" in one of there videos so, that means about 5-6 1/2 pounds a year for them. 1 pound a month, these guys cant even do that becuase they said so there self in another video, lets see 3 years, 12 months a year that would be 36 pounds in 3 years, but it does slow down like that said

  • the way u say 12lbs of muscle makes it seem like its heavy as shit, but in the end its only 12lbs, not hatin' or anything.

  • @raplover14 I know bro ignorant people now days

  • not being an asshole, i really would like to know. what do you guys know about muscle confusion?

  • @ChiGuy16 they do know alot. they been working out for i think 3 to 4 yrs now

  • i heard injecting synthol is really good for growing muscle ...

  • @Heavyrock131 yup extremely

  • I have upgraded my gym trainers from Scott Herman to WHATEVER THE FUCK I WANNA DO!!!

  • i put on 11 pounds in a year and i was skinny now i'm yoked up cant wait to put on more

  • you niggas some funny mother fuckers

  • A pound a month is ridiculously fast. Most people are lucky to get eight pounds in a year, the first year. After that you would be lucky to get five pounds.

  • @RainCityBlues When I was in HS, we did S&C year round. We were told that we could expect to gain about 8 lbs/year. If some of us were genetically adept, then maybe 10lbs. This was back in the 80's, freshmen who would have been normally 170lbs would expect to be about 190-200lbs as seniors, and those naturally bigger dudes would be about 210-220. That was generally the size of OL/DL back then. Really big was 230-240. Humungous was 260-270. Now the average size of my old hs ol/dl is 255! Roids!!

  • @RainCityBlues i agree

  • @RainCityBlues

So explain this? I am skinny as fuck.. I weigh 130lbs and I'm 6'0 tall. So are you telling me I will only be able to get 138 after 1 year? and max out at 145-150 after 2 years? Surely because I am skinny as fuck, I could put on about 20-30 lbs and still be normal sized... around 150-160... If I'm 6'tall... I could potentially carry 200lbs... so does that mean I have the potential to gain 70lbs of muscle????

  • I've been bodybuilding for about a year now and I've put on a solid 16lbs of muscle. That's with 4 months of bulking 4 months of cutting then another 4 months of bulking. Only minor gnc bought supplements and a strict diet with meal replacing shakes. I use Casien before bed and myofusion throughout the day. Good luck on your journey guys!

  • @therealkyarush Yo man im 182 pounds and 6"3 in height 16 years old. So should i still be eating 6 meals a day with a lean protein, im a beginner. And also there are kids my height like 140 pounds. So if i just follow the twins program and eat right would i build muscle? I dont have much bodyfat either..

  • an 8th? wtf is that? a lbs = 16 oz, so an 8th is 2 oz LOL!

  • @TraumaER I think he meant 8 tenths of a pound.

  • @TraumaER

I think he meant 8/10ths of a lbs...

  • what do i have to do to get abs?

  • @Smellycats4eva slsk. get.

  • I gained 4 pounds of muscle in like 6 to 7 months, is that fast?

  • lol im from netherlands and i can understand you guys omg

  • anrold swarchener:)

  • takes long but worth it afterr

  • Doing a 45minute workout, what should I do for the rest of the day? I'm a beginner.

  • @MightyMitchx i am too.

  • IS GETTIN a bench MAX important

  • Trying for 2 pounds this month, a beginner..

  • real men shit them selves while working out

  • im sure you guys have incredible genetics

  • are u guys twins ? :P

  • @sube3 that from one of there videos lol

  • You guys put out some good videos and have really helped me stay motivated and set realistic goals. Ive been lifting for 3 months and gained about 9lbs. Im realizing how hard it is to gain muscle and strength, but now im very motivated to eat right and work hard in the gym. Thanks for the great videos.

  • Which muscle group is easier to gain muscle ?

    GOOD QUESTION.

    ANSWER IT PLEASE.

  • @JLMKsBakery the arms are usually the easier ones to get in a short periot of time

  • @JLMKsBakery Triceps

  • where was the " SO you want to buil muscle ???"

  • supaturk put on 60lbs of muscle in 13 months naturally

  • how can U check how muscle muscle you got in your body?

  • How do I know if I'm gaining muscle mass, or gaining fat?

  • @xxsul6anxx get a weight thingy then it should say your weight and body fat percentage

  • These men speak the truth!

  • how you know when its muscle weight or fat wight

  • I agree. A pound a month is what you will get with the right diet and training. If you put on more than a pound a month then you're either on steroids or you've just start training so your body is adapting to the weight training program.

  • How can a pound of muscle weigh more than a pound of fat. Lol

  • I agree with you guys.... a pound a month is realistic with hard work and good diet...

  • I've got 2-3kg (I guess like 5 pounds?) in 3 months. Then again, I'm a teenager

  • 1 pound a month? Ive already gained 5 pounds in almost 4 weeks. And so has my friend.

  • @physicalgrafiti12345 you just started your body is adapting to the new stresses you are putting on it but once it has adaptred to needing to use muscle it will not adapt as quickly in future!

  • @Strange0ne yes i know this but the point is 1 pound a month is not good

  • @physicalgrafiti12345 yes it is excellent you will stop building muscle exponentially at some stage and when that happens one pound a month is very good!

  • Can you guys do a video on howt to work out yr back?

  • I love these guys.

  • I put on 40-50 lbs of muscle while growing an inch taller in just 3 years.... fat is relatively the same. was 10%bf and now I am 11-13%

  • @Heatseaker19 You're a dumbfuck.

  • @ampdgmr When I was 16 I was 6 foot 3 while weighing 165lbs with 10% bf. A true ectomorph. Now I am 19 6 foot 4 and 215lb with 12% bf. You mad bitch?

  • @Heatseaker19 Nah, you unaesthetic as fuck.

  • @ampdgmr 215lbs 12% bf muthafucka what about you? aesthetics my ass. If I cared about aesthetics I'd cut like 9lbs from my weight. Im an ectomorph I could do that more easily than most people if I wanted to but that doesnt really matter to me. 10 to 13% bf is fine. Im not working out ot impress anyone I am working out to get stronger and to stay fit. Reducing you bf% to 8 doesnt help you do that.

  • @Heatseaker19 "Not trying to impress anyone" yet posting random shit about your 'stats' on the internet that nobody gives a fuck about. Cool story kid.

  • @ampdgmr What I initially said was completely relevent to the video discussion. But you decided to be a troll and now you are sayin you dont give a fuck. Thats great so then why did you bother to comment? next time why dont you think twice before you decide to randomly troll on people's comments and discredit them for their hard work which you obviously know nothing about.

  • @Heatseaker19 You state shit with 0 proof. I check your acc, 0 proof. Show a pic dumbass. You're trying to tell me you worked out hard for 3 years straight with no progress pics? nothing posted to /fit/ or r/fitness or bb.com ?? k.

  • @Heatseaker19

    Hahahahahahah

    AHAHAHAHAHHAHH

    You're funny man

  • @TheManOfRash awww dont tell me you're jealous now... heheheh you just add to my satisfaction. Went from being a skinny tall guy at 165lbs 10% bf to 219lbs 12% bf in 3 years. how bout you buddy? wtf have you been doing?

  • @Heatseaker19

You should be a comedian bro!

  • @TheManOfRash you didnt answer my question. lol what have you been doing? huh? What gains have you made in the past 3 years or have you failed to make any at all?

  • @Heatseaker19

Dude, I highly doubt you've made those physical gains, but if you have, then you've really missed out on what the gym is all about, and that's the mental side. You're on the fucking internet giving out e-stats with absolutely no proof whatsoever. Go play CoD you faggot

  • @TheManOfRash go to body building.com and you will see people who have made waaay more gains than that. What I did was nothing but you are acting like its impossible. lol If you actually trained your ass off like you are supposed to then you wouldnt be surprised by my gains at all. So why dont you get off your computer and go to the gym and give your fat lazy ass some exercise for once instead of pretending to laff at things that arent even funny. And wtf is Cod?

  • @Heatseaker19

Fine, if you really have made all those gains why are you bragging it about it online? Why brag about it at all? When you're in great shape everyone notices without you saying shit. This is the internet bro, without proof you're just talking garbage.

  • @TheManOfRash lol man look at the video title. Its talkin about HOW LONG IT TAKES TO BUILD MUSCLE. And I shared how long it took me. And now you start trolling on my comments like a jobless moron and when I give you the exact stats to justify my claims then you say I am bragging and lying and need to show proof etc. man get the fuck out. really just get the fuck out and stop trolling on people's comments.

  • @TheManOfRash honestly if you actually trained and worked out hard and made good gains then you wouldnt be trolling on me like you are doing now. Its clearly obvious that you are probably some bitter skinny/fat dude who is finding it very difficult to get into shape. Man go to bodybuilding(dot)com and look at the progress pictures there and see how people have changed THROUGH HARD WORK. What I said is VERY common, infact some people even increase much faster than I did. so stfu and stop trolling

  • I put on over 70 pounds of muscle....

in 10 years!!!! A pound a month? Go fuck yourself. More like half a pound and you are doing great.

  • you guys are my pre-workout motivation

  • Comment removed

  • "How long does it take to build muscle?"

    "It takes fucken forever!" lol

  • hello..i tottaly agree with u and all your videos..i do bodybulding as a sport..i started 2 years ago i was 110 pounds 5''10..and through hard work for 2 and half years i am here now 165 pounds now with 8% body fat...with very hard nutrision and dedicasion..anyone can do it..its everything in the mind

  • anyone find it a bit ironic that their website is called '2buildmusclefast'?

  • You guys should review P90x

  • I have been lifting for 4 years and this last year I would say I went from a novice to an experienced lifter and I have gained about 25lbs of muscle. from 130 to 155

  • @RealinAmerica

lol youve been lifting 4 years and gained 10kg ?

  • @m8dness987 no in one 6 month period I gained 25lbs. At the beginning of last year i just lifted a little but then I started lifting a lot more and that is when I gained the weight.

  • i put on 30 pounds of muscle in 3 months while i was in jail. and then a few years later when i first started working out again i put on 25 pounds of muscle in 2 months. i lost body fat the first time the second time i gained a little fat but not much my bicepts grew 2 inches... my point is dont expect that but its possible especially when you first start out

  • @healthyandyoung You gained 30 pounds of mass(Muscle and Fat) in 3months not 30lbs of lean muscle.

  • @ImJJames i put on 30 pounds and my body fat went from 10 percent to 7 percent so it was actually more then 30 pounds of muscle dont ask me how i wish i could do that again. i was 20 years old i probably had testosterone so high it was equivelant to a steroid user who knows.

  • Are you guys twins or something? You look a like a lot. Damn, it looks like the one of you is a reflection in the mirror. I just stumbled upon this video, completely accidentally (can't even remember how I got here as I type this), and I see you got a whole bunch of videos. Gonna watch them all :D

  • @smoothMousePad Shit, I just saw your profile username... never mind that question :)

  • Stop saying "Fucking" just say what you want to say......

  • Damm u guys the best

  • is it ok to workout inside a hot basement in the summer? i workout my biceps at my hot ass basement cause my gym dont have any bicep/ez curlbars for curls, only for bench press andd squats.

  • @musclebuildingteen u should plug in a fan down there man u gonna forget all about that heat with some nice breeze when u curlin that bitch :)

  • Lol I like you guys. Real shit!

  • "shut up you dumbass"

  • i take creatine and then about 30 minutes later take whey protein, is that okay?

  • @kill3rcr3w they said in one of their videos it doesent matter when you take it or which one you take first. justake both within 1 hr of workout

  • Comment removed

  • You say fuckin far too fuckin' much...................fuckin' keep it up though, it's fuckin funny : )

  • kevins stare face is fuckin hilarious

  • How long does it take to build muscle? it takes fucking forever! lool

  • 12 pounds of ground beef is 12 pounds ground beef but that is a lot of ground beef though lol ,love these guys, funny mofos

  • I gained 20 pounds in a year. its a bitch now though lol

  • BASICALLY. 1. Genetics are everything. 2.Low body fat. 3.stick with it, short intense workout.

  • I love your videos man, uve helped me out alot! :)

  • amen to that! i would agree! all those programs are nothing but Bullshit with a capital B! lol! i too did a research and tried those diet plans and training programs and it didnt work! everybody is different.. im an asian im a big dude and it took me years to get me where i am today! LOL!

  • you're funny

  • "How long does it take to build muscle? It takes fuckin' forever."

    End video

  • how you know you gain muscle? i'm 156 lbs and height 6 ft under. My body fat tell me that i'm 15.5%. Before I weight 132 lbs and height 5ft11 inches. So how much muscle I growth? i been in gym for about 7 month already.

  • @3forumreader

Google scoobyworkshop, it's a good website and it has a bodyfat calculator that can tell you how much muscle you've built if you have before and after bf measurements.

  • @3forumreader You have gained 5 pounds of muscle and 19 pounds of FAT, thats horrible.

  • Keep it coming with the videos guys, thanks for all the AWESOME advice. It has steered me away from a lot of rookie mistakes.

  • Ill stick with it until i am satisfied, however long it takes its better than accepting this ectomorph bullshit genetics and complaining about it forever ! 1 pound of muscle a month, well in a year ill be happy with it, even more in 2 years and in 3. I kinda hoped for faster results, but thanks for the reality check

  • the one on our left cant ever keep a straight face

  • you guys are awsome.. lol your funny, you get to the point, and you got your facts down and im loving the adivce!!

  • You can only build a usual maximum of one lb of muscle a week.

  • You guys are funny.thanks for the tips and facts.good video 5*

  • I have been watching your video, and I have to say this. You guys rock... You both a real and speak the truth..Word...Luv the tips you guys give us..keep making video...Maybe one day, you will have a tv show....

  • African American men are usually blessed with good genetics!

  • @MrPokerJesus They are NOT black. They are only a bit black. Have you ever seen a negro with blue eyes?

  • @smoothMousePad they showed a picture of their grandparents. grandfather was pitch black with straight hair. hinting at some naive american plus they are from the south so they are black+white+ native no doubt

  • @smoothMousePad

You need to take some VERY basic biology lessons, moron.

  • @AtoZyzzyva And you need to do two things VERY soon. First, start reading carefully, and second, bring your acumen and sharpness to a higher level if you ever want to be able figure out in what tone, and with what intentions was something said. Peace...

  • @smoothMousePad

You said they weren't black, you were wrong.

So glad we cleared that up.

PS. please stop scaring me with your amazing vernacular(!)

  • @AtoZyzzyva No, I said "They are NOT black. They are only a bit black". So, I was not wrong when I said they are not black. Like I wouldn't be wrong when I would say that they are NOT white. I would be wrong if I would say that they are black or that they are white. Peace...

  • @smoothMousePad

That is like referring to dirty water and saying it is not dirty, just a bit dirty. If something is a bit of something it will typically be classified as the full thing without going into detail, if that makes sense.

Basically, if they were asked if they were black, they would say yes, not "I'm a bit black".

PS. I will not answer again but might read your reply, have a good day.

  • @AtoZyzzyva That is a terrible comparison mate. First, we are talking about people, not dirt in the water, and second, I, personally, am disgusted with how you compare black people with dirt. If you are looking at them from a perspective of white man, you will probably call them black, but if you are looking at them from a perspective of a native Nigerian negro, will you call them black then? I am a "99% pure" European white boy and I would have no problem calling them white. Enjoy life.

  • Y'all high?,

  • haha yea like kyle leon, samobolic muscle maximzer...

ya'll should make a video making fun of it lol

  • These are my dogs...there advice is 95% right on the money for me. They need a reality show. I go on here every night just to go to sleep with a smile and laugh.

  • i love that, "thats our advice but do whatever the fuck u wanna do". Breath of fresh air to watch training videos with you guys, don't get many laughs in the others, they're way too serious. keep them coming

  • how tall are you guys? because im 6'4 and i weight 211 and i work out 6 days a week and you guys look a hell of alot bigger than me. lol

  • Love these two motha fucka's.

  • U GUYS HAVE CHANGED MY THINKING ABOUT WORKOUT ! THANX MAN REALLY APPRCIATE WHAT U GUYS ARE DOING ! I VISITED UR WEBSITE AND THE INFO THERE IS GREAT AND FREE !! THANX AGAIN !

  • LMAO 2:05 "Shut up ya dumb ass!" lool these guys a hilarious

  • 0:02 Thats pretty much sums up the whole video

  • Great advice guys! Really enjoyed the vid.

  • these guys are true with what they say, a month i started working out on the training splits they suggest and take the supplments they say to take, i can already see alot of results, hodgetwins program works =)

  • @LTMagic21. I know his high schools pics of him running are funny, skinny as hell! But some people question whether he was even an Ectomorph to begin with. I mean he sure looks like he was but maybe he was a mesomorph who just did way too much long distance running? I mean I'm a big fan of the guy I picked up his NNMB couple months back it's really good. I watch him on his YouTube channel weekly, he's an inspiration I see him as my coach, haha! Since I followed his advice on "pyramiding" sets I

  • does it also depend on ur body's learning curve?, like my body adapts real fast so i might get an eigth every month up to 6 a year

  • How would you guys compare 1.M.R and Presurge? which one do you think is better

  • vince del monte still looks tiny though and great vid

  • sup guys tell me is good to eat befor workout??

  • The END ROCKS :))

  • Vince Delmonte added 41lbs of muscle in 6 months, went from 149 to 190! Lot of people don't believe him tho, but he had pics to back it up.

  • @TheSituation234 his before pics are him as like a high school cross counrty runner. and his after pic was him like as a fitness model. You don't just become a fitness model overnight. Hell, it takes like 16 weeks to prepare for a show! You think he gained 41 pounds, shed all the fat and got a pro photographer to take his pic all in 6 months?! Hell no. Not saying he didn't transform his body, but he did NOT do it in the fashion he claims.

  • @TheSituation234 and they're talking about 1 pound of dry muscle. That equates to like 5 or 6 pounds of stored space, because of the glycogen, water retention, etc, that gets stored along w/ that muscle

  • 2:00 LMFAO shut up you dumbass hahaha

  • I put on 8-12lbs pounds a year I started at 175 I'm 196 body fat 13%

  • Let see I've been training for six months and i now weight 193 and i came from 185. My body fat have gone down because i can see some packs on my abs. So six months 8 lbs of muscle that's 1.3 lbs per month.

  • yes .. i love them too! their advices are cool .. ive had learn a lot!

  • im within a year of weight training an i love my results i cant wait for 3 yrs lol

  • Very true

  • Great realistic advice. You can get huge beginners gains, like me I was skinny as hell and put on 30 lbs of muscle my first year with beginners gains but it's slowed down a lot to a little over a pound a month which made me lose some motivation but this helped reassure me it's normal.

  • great realistic aviv

  • 2:26 your one big yoked mother fucker haha

  • I feel the same fucking way when i dont work out

  • YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!

  • "I'm big as fukin' hell!" lawl..good advice as always although it is probably a shocker to a lot of viewers how long it takes to build muscle!

  • maaassssss

  • You guys are straight shooters!!

  • "thats alotta fuckin muscle mang"!
