@TheScorpionSquad It takes an army of stylist, beautitions, personal trainers, cameramen, computer manipulaters (brush ups any one) and thousands and thousands of $ and £ too make modern 'celebs' look good these days. Then you either had 'it' or you didn't... Louise had the it factor and much more.
She was one of the very best actresses of the silver screen in the 1920s. Lulu had presence, real talent, determination and was hotter than anybody else. I love her in those early silents made in Weimar Germany, so great!

@MowgliX bullshit "sexually repreessed" is the lie that demons and lust are natural to man's they arent they are gross distortions and violence to the truth that is married love
I love Louise Brooks. I had to study Pandora's Box at university and immediatly fell in love with the presence she had on screen. She was so beautiful and amazing to watch that I became an immediate fan lol. My favorite actress by far.
TY for the awesome post! Lulu was something else! Love that lady and her style ;) My kinda girl!! Thanks again :) I'd love to get my hands on the entire movie and watch it :)
@bqfoster i think she's exactly the opposite of vulgar. compare her to fergie or christina aguilera. now who's vulgar? she's the epitome of classiness.
@zeekwolfe Unlike most gutter talk used so frequently by inet poster imbeciles, in this case this statement is valid and informative because they are Louise's own words. She was stating to a friend why she was "kicked out of Hollywood". Louise was very direct and her language was often quite spicy.
@llewxam46 That is true, and she said herself in an interview in the 1970s that she was kicked out of Hollywood by the bosses there because the "liked to screw a lot". Whether that was true of whether she made that up, I don't know.
i do not thinks audiences in the 1920s had a clue - about these subtle sexual undertones, half the aud. today would not get this film...I have read hundreds of film Mag. from the early talking picture era and she is right I found 1 mag. that ment. she was unavailable not unsuitable for sound, She was her own worst enemy, although it is funny that someone who was just beyond starlet in her day gave such brilliant interviews and writing of the era...
Want to talk about vulgar, try the degenerated shit witch is pushed dawn our collectife troats today,I'il take back the 20,s enytime.

America is still a very sexually repressed country. Louise liked to drink and fuck, and that wasn't OK with Hollywood.

@bqfoster In what way does the use of the obscene word for sexual intercourse help us understand this video or you comments?
