It's nice to hear about your keen interest in Japan and wanting to become a teacher.
But I would give the online degree a miss.
The Japanese government and the board of education have caught onto that scheme and have been cracking down on it in recent years.
It would pass for the dispatch companies that hire you,
but when they take you to the interview at the BOE,
they investigate to see if it is legit or not.
Sorry if it's bad news.
There are other ways to live and work here.
Good luck man!

Thanks for the heads-up Teddy! If anything, I'm saving $200 and change by not buying the degree.
Do you know of any ways that a guy without a college degree could live and work in Japan?

If you're in UK or New Zealand you can get a working holiday visa. As for Americans, you need a BS/BA to work as a teacher.

Yeah, that's kind of a bummer. Which is why I'm joining the Navy and try to get stationed in Japan.
thanks for the shoutout in the video. best of luck in your studies and journey!

It's been pretty rough these past couple of months, but I'm beginning to move forward again, which is good!
