@hesbatting1000 If you study your bible very carefully, Zechariah 8:23 is prophesying of the coming Messiah, the Jew Jesus, who would powerfully preach the true word of God and He is the only one, as the verse says, who was taken by the "hem of his garment" and whom "God was with Him" and ten men (representative of the perfect Divine order as in the 10 commandments) that is, all men will way "let us go with Him." Zechariah 8:23 does not refer to any sinful man, but to the Messiah, Jesus Christ.

Well explained, when Jesus returns to gather his end time harvest (believers). It has to be taken seriously, it is a shame here the UK, we lack true Christian teaching, o false Christian teachings. You guys are luck that you have men like Max Lucado, and the Rabbi in the video to Pastor Perry Stone. It is so needed here in the UK. The Rabbi explans clearly the meaning of communion. @discoqueen1970 Let's not start glorifying the flesh now, that's not what it's about. It's about having the spirit of God in the heart no matter the nationality. Christ is the issue here, not an earthly national designation. That was the WHOLE problem to begin with when the Jews rejected Jesus. They were thinking "material kingdom"...and Jesus said "NO...my kingdom IS NOT of this world." Let's get it right folks.

I don't know why there isn't more brotherhood between at least messianic Jews and Christians. This Rabbi was great but I've gotten the icy shoulder from even messianic Jews and trying to share Christ with non messianic Jews is harder than preaching to pagans.

@Fauthal The reason many messianic jews don't mix well with Christians is because way down deep they still think that they're better than everybody else. That is a common fallacy of all fallen men. Whatever will glorify their flesh will be pounced on to flaunt it to others. When one is REALLY converted unto Christ, all that drops off because the flesh means nothing. It's the Spirit of God is us that makes us special as the true children of the faith of Abraham, not the flesh of Abraham.

@trudiamond30 The thing is that it should be Messianic . Because jews don't accept Yeshua as the Messiach. They are so meny things that they do that are not written in the Torah. They called them the spoken Torah and when you question some of those laws they say that you must obey them even if they are not in the Torah. Read Matthew 15:1...you will see that Yeshua does not say the law of my Father, instead he says the traditions of the elders...I love Israel and Torah..His Word

Micah 5:2 - "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting."

This comes from the prophet Micah in the tanakh about 700 years before Jesus came, and it foretells the coming Messiah being born in Bethlehem, being divine and preexistent. Jesus the Messiah fulfilled this prophecy being born in bethlehem and he fulfilled many more prophecies

@SevenTableTimes Wrong, the predominant belief in judaism today is that Jesus was a terrible false messiah and sorcerer who is currently burning in hell and that his mother was a whore. In Israel they call him "Yeshu" which is a terrible curse. The jews only say stuff such as "he was a good rabbi and jew" in order to fool Christians. The messianic jews in Israel (who recognize their king) are terribly persecuted by the israeli masses even though they are staunce israeli patriots.

@elazar79 A Christian is a believer in and follower of Jesus Christ as the promised Messiah of the Old Testament. No one can see, accept or understand this unless God the Father reveals it in their heart. So, as is obvious by the mass of Jewish unbelievers and others who have a form of Christian religion but are not, no amount of logic, or reasoning or parting of the Red Sea will convince anyone. This revelation of being born-again is of God, not of men.

I have read quite a few posts here slandering this man. However I listened to the short teaching and it is good. Although I do not think replacing passover with communion is appropriate (this is what is going on at the church while he is giving his teaching) his teaching is accurate and he does not misrepresent himself or his beliefs. Reaching out to the church for a Messianic believer is difficult. I personally would not go where they are doing communion. I would instruct them to do Passover.

@mrfig36 - Passover is most intimately connected with the Christian communion. At the Last Supper, Jesus and His disciples were celebrating the Passover. He said to them, "Do this in remembrance of Me." It would be, in fact, most inappropriate not to link the two together. The Jewish celebration of Passover does not include Jesus Christ, so it would also be inappropriate for Rabbi Daniel Thomson who is a Messianic Jew to simply do a Passover service without a reference to the Messiah, Jesus.
