A Long, Long Time Ago... 2008... A Year In Review

JibJab's was a very good review but it was a different genre, so it's not fair to compare them. JibJab's was just pointing out all the things that were effed up this year, strictly for laughs. (I loved it!) This was a very bittersweet look at all the funny, memorable, sometimes silly, touching moments that made this year. A good mix of commercials/SNL stuff and serious events. Good clip placement to match the lyrics, interspersed with a tribute to the dead celebs. I really liked it!

It's kind of strange when it showed the clip where Barack Obama won the election, the song says "The King was looking down"

I believe he is acting like the a dictatorial king and looking down the American People.

Very good video and I love how it was in synch with the lyrics, but I wish you didn't have one missed call and prom night in there since they weren't at all noteworthy movies of 08. I'm nitpicking though. Great video.

GREAT JOB. Some suggestions: I didn't catch some of the things, especially the music videos. Maybe you could try putting the music vid's info in the bottom corner (like on tv). Also, maybe use some newspaper headlines to explain things instead of just typing the words on screen-it makes it flow better.

Absolutely fantastic Year-in-review. WAY better than jibjab's for sure. I really like how the chorus synced in respect to the people who had passed away. Really fantastic and original. some wierd choices here and there but you hit all of the KEY choices on the head.
