You guys, the exhaust note is now available to play and download at the Subaru BRZ website. Click on the yellow "THE BOXER SOUND" icon with the picture of the new FA20 engine. There you will be able to listen to it without the music, and have the option of downloading the sound too :)

Boxer engines usually sound great, these don't sound like boxers though. These sound more like Toyota Corollas...Thank God for the aftermarket!

@ilovecats748 They probably have equal-length headers. That "boxer rumble" people speak of is usually due to unequal-length headers.
