Hey, Cindy...he was a stray when we took him in and very, very dusty, stinky, and itchy. Our vet (who is also a holistic vet) recommended we bathe him very gently with a special $25 hypoallerginic shampoo -- I'm also allergic to cats and it REALLY helps me with being around him.

She said if we bathe him twice a year it should be sufficient. He's a really, really good boy. :-)
