    Thank you!

  • ...hey, megga203...just enjoy the song....

  • The bible can mena what u want it 2 mean ask mormons who look at abraham , moses, david, solomon with several wives. Many ppl disagree.sOME CHURCHES ACCEPT OT others dont some teach only Epistles, others the gospels. Gays are accepted in episcopal, presbyterian ch. Pentecostal do not. Southern Baptist supported slavery using bible, northern baptist opposed it used Bible.

  • @meggab2003 May God bless your soul for when the day comes you will be on your knees... May he have mercy on you when judgment day arrives.

  • I've seen them live in concert. Floor seats!! They were sooo amazing!! :D Delirious!!

  • can anyone NOT listen to this song without feeling the overwhelming joy of the Holy Spirit?!!!!!!

  • @boucher21 no.

  • Grayson was awesome when he sang this at hume lake :3

  • Not because its a theory means it is not true. It is true, and is open to further investigation as oppose to dogma of ted haggard jim jone hagee KKK. The creator can be god but he sure isnt that murderous yhwh in OT. Jesus is love. If god has all power then he can stop earthquakes. If he has unconditional love then there is no hell. There are more problems with religion than science. I am a christian and scientist. Scientists are way more honest then "preachers".

  • @meggab2003 Jesus is the saviour of all men

    peace be with you

  • We sing this song at church and youth. i love it. IT'S SO AWESOME!!!!

  • I got tired of jumping in one place after a while. So I was dancing some other dances at the show like: "The shopping cart" where you wave to your friends. Sorry I had to explain =)

  • YES ! HOW GREAT OS OUR GOD /./

  • One day, scientist said, "God, we are the same like you now."

    God said, "How come?"

    "We can clone man."

"Okay, now lets make man MY way."

The scientists started to get sand from the ground.

God said, "NO, make your own sand."

  • This is one of my favorite tunes by Delirious -- Stu G Rocks Your Face Off On This Song With His Stellar Guitar Skills & Martin Can Always Rally The Troops .... I'll Love This Band Forever.

  • This singer aint half sounding like bono. Still a talented band i have just started listening to after the re-entered the charts. They shud have been massive as this tune is really radio freindly

  • its written by delirious, apparently the guitarist was just playing that lick at a show, and the singer just started singing "rain down" and thats how they originally came up with it. there's another video on YouTube where they explain that I dont have a link but it shouldnt be hard to find

  • Graça e Paz galera!

Por favor alguem poderia me dar uma força me enviando versões prontas das musicas abaixo do Delirious?

    Obrigado DEUS abençoe a todos...

    My Glorioso

    Rain Dow

  • I believe this is Jesus Culture's version and Delirious is just playing it. Awesome Song nonetheless.

  • Guys, why are you fighting. It doens't matter. If your a Christian then you believe he'll eventually die, and he will then know the truth. If not, then, just leave us "blissfully blind" i guess you would call it.

Seriously, i wish you people would just shut up and listen to the music...

...And (Because i'm a Christian, u may have different opinons) one day he'll pay for all of his sins.

  • @drayeleth GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD answer..... let's enjoy the song......

And that guitar part at the beginning....And the keyboard part.... and the clapping part and the lyrics and the presence of God moving everytime I hear this song...........

  • It's worth it to be in the 2%.

  • Maybe you should take the time to think about if you really want to do the same thing that so many people accuse us of.

I believe in debate, discussion, questions, and answers.

What I do not believe in is disrespectful posts, comments, etc in our area of worship/sources of religious media.

There are very few times I see Christians posting on non-religious music, yet every time I try to listen to my preference, it's all around me.

IF there wasn't a god, how would it hurt for us to have faith?

  • I believe this is like going to a concert ( like a pop rock concert) Its all about money. Money is your God and you all have a price. that price is...how much would it take to pay you to renounce jesus? 98% of you would have a price and you will take 1 million to 10 million if it was offered to you. The other 2% that dont take the money would be arrested and be placed in the mental hospital.

  • Atheists/agnostics/etc constantly are saying that "religious" people push, prod, and force beliefs on those who do not wish to hear it.

That is true, not because we're 'high and mighty' or think less of you, but because our belief is to spread the 'truth' as our eyes view it.

I can understand where some people find that less than appealing to be around. If it's not in kindness that they come to you, however, they aren't true.

The point is. If you will criticize us for doing such..

  • @xxpresetpromisexx i didn't mean to give your comment a thumbs down man. sorry. i can't revote. i wanted to give a thumbs up.

  • Hah. It's all good. I appreciate the thought. :]

  • With Christianity..Well, Pentecost to be exact. I feel that my experiences+church support the documents it holds up. The feel, comfort, peace, and clarity is much more than in other religions where I feel more confused than "enlightened."

That's just me though. You go with what you understand, feel comfortable with, and can truly say is right.

I'm not going to sit here and insult you or tell you how Jesus is real. He is, in my eyes. You have your own opinions, let us have ours.

  • "Rock" comes in many forms...100's of different sub-genres, and this falls into one of those many. So, it's not against or wronging "Rock," It's just separate from the sub-genre you listen to most.

Personally, I don't believe in Jesus because it's the most popular choice, or anything like that. I've researched many other religions, and they just truly didn't make sense to me.

Their policies either went against the documents that they were using or it didn't feel right etc.

  • no i was created through a biological process called childbirth.

and i dont understand why you are all so confident that "he's the lord!". why choose jesus and christianity over the countless other religions.

and my problem is that this shit band is 'blaspheming' rock music.

    your god can fuck himself.

  • @dar13y

We're confident that he is lord because we have witnesses and historical findings and pure logic to support our beliefs, unlike alot of religions and unlike any atheist belief. We only believe intelligently designed arguments, whilst atheists deny them because they involve God.

Stop blaspheming things you don't understand, because that'll just land you in a load of trouble.

  • @TheColaGoodfellow, was that a threat? is your god gunna 'strike me down' if i call him a twat ,cunt or any other things?...... thought not.

is it your 'pure logic' that makes you believe your ingesting the body and blood of a 2000 year old fictional character every sunday aswell?

  • @dar13y

Of all things you should be thankful that he is having mercy on you, and threat would be the wrong word, warning would suit better.

We only symbollicaly eat the body and blood of Christ, I think it's Catholicism where they actually believe they're eating his body. Catholics seem to forget that Jesus sometimes spoke symbollically instead of literally. (Unless Jesus literally turned Peter into a rock when he called him the rock on which the church would be built, and that's unbiblical)

  • @TheColaGoodfellow, oh i get it now, you pick and choose which things your god says are literal. so your right and everyone elses interpration of the bible is wrong?

  • @dar13y

We pick and choose what is symbollic based on what the bible says is symbollic. The Bible says the bread and wine is a reminder of his sacrifice, it says nothing about miraculously turning it into his body.

You may not have any trust in the logic of people who believe, but to be quite frank we aren't all ignoramuses, some of us do deviate from what we are taught and compare different beliefs to our own current ones.

  • @TheColaGoodfellow, your deviation from what other people may believe is undermined by your own beliefs in what the bible teaches as facts, for example, you may not believe that the bread and wine is literally god, but you still believe in core tenants of the bible such as the resurection of zombie jesus.

  • @dar13y

Denying things because they're "impossible" is circular logic, and is not a good enough excuse on its own to deny the claims of a book like the Bible. If you knew the history of the Book and read it you would know that it's impossible for all the writers to have conspired together to organise a lie because they lived hundreds of years apart from each other, some of them never even met.

I could list the many different reasons why it's very very unlikely to be a lie if you want.

  • @dar13y

And by impossible for them to lie, I meant much more unlikely than the prescence of a God or miracles.

Science spews miracles everyday, you think the very force that sustains the universe is less capable of intelligent thought and miracles than humans are?

  • @TheColaGoodfellow; the bible is not a source of empirical evidence,, it is a storybook which would be fit for children if it didnt have such a lack of morals and common sense. and if you think it more likely that there is a supernatural being controlling the universe, than the bible is a lie then your mind works backwards.

  • @dar13y

You can't dismiss the Bible on the baseless claim "it is a storybook" and that alone when you have no evidence that it was, that's backwards thinking. I however can provide evidence that once upon a time a group of people wrote letters to churches promising them that if they only trusted the invisible force that sustains the universe miracles would happen. And I can see no motivation for them to lie about this.

  • @TheColaGoodfellow, money, power, they were gullible like you. your god isn't real, an if he is, ill gladly go to hell in defiance of everything he stands for.

  • @dar13y

I repeat, circular logic gets you nowhere. The apostles who wrote the letters said themselves that they never asked anything of those who they were writing to. They worked for themselves, I don't think you've properly read the Bible.

If Paul or John or James wanted power, they'd make people believe THEY are the son of God and not some mysterious stranger who apparantly doesn't exist.

I have no reason to believe you.

  • @TheColaGoodfellow, but yet they did achieve wealth and power by spreading their beliefs, i dont think youve properly learnt any history. the chatholic church is a supremely wealthy, powerful and hierarchical organisation. wether they actually believed in what they were saying is irrelevent because they still spread lies.

and lets not forgotet that your religion is one many thousands that exist globally,, and it is one which you acquired culturally and by luck of birthplace.

  • @dar13y

The apostles (the ones who wrote the letters in the Bible) did not gain wealth or power from their efforts because most of them were killed for their beliefs, and we even know the ways in which most of them died. The people who wrote the Bible got and wanted nothing other than riches in heaven, and they said that themselves in their letters. If they just wanted to control the people by earthly methods they wouldn't have made the promise "a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick".

  • @dar13y

And it doesn't change the fact there is no reason why they couldn't have called themselves the son of God. In their letters they even say things along the lines of "remember when I came and did miracles for you?". The leap of faith is saying that the 40 odd people who wrote the books/letters of the Bible (most of them who had never met each other) were all lieing.

  • @dar13y

If someone i knew promised me that I would get 1 million pounds if I walked outside right now because there's a man waiting who's going to give it me for winning a prize my parents entered me into, then I would actually take them seriously. If a claimed miracle worker of the time promised me that I could heal people simply by trusting God, i would take him seriously. Neither of them would have reason to lie.

  • @TheColaGoodfellow, "a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick", personally i prefer the help of medicine and doctors. you must understand that i do not take the bible as the word of god, and that when you qoute it i dont take you seriously.

you say they have no reason to lie, then do not provide any substantial evidence to the contrary. if i told you that i was a miracle worker and that you should pray to me, would you take me seriously?

  • @dar13y, i dont ask for proof of god, i ask for you to support your ideas with emperical evidence. and there is none.

  • @dar13y might let you know that we say leap of faith not scientific evidence and that is for a reason you see we accepted christ as our saviour have witnessed miricles and had our own encounters with him. but you cannot believe us becaause your heart is closed to His calling. "I knock on the door and wait if you open I will enter and eat with you" He is talking about our heart and right now He is knockin on the door to YOUR heart.

  • @dar13y

I wouldn't take you seriously now, because you're using it in an argument to disprove the existance of miracles. However if you did it in different circumstances I still might doubt, because the Bible was wrote by more than just one person with no reason to lie, and had a good explanation as to how it was possible (God). If you told me to pray to you and you did no miracles I would not take you seriously, because there's a high chance you're just wanting self-gloriication.

  • @dar13y

And here's the catch. You're assuming that I would'nt believe you without evidence, yet you assume they did. Do you realise that people who claimed to be prophets and didn't follow through with proven prophecy were to be killed by Moses' law? If they had not done the miracles, they would have been stoned.

  • @TheColaGoodfellow, i see magicians all the time pulling off magic tricks i cant understand, this does not mean that i would jump to the conclusion that they were prophets of a god. where is you rationality? where is your logic?

  • @dar13y

You don't see magicians doing miracles like those in the Bible, ever. The day I see powerless magicians parting oceans, healing the maimed, bringing the dead back to life, walking on the sea in the middle of a storm, sending fire down from the sky onto cities and turning water into blood is the day I will eat my hat.

  • @TheColaGoodfellow, there is no historical record of these things happening apart from in the bible. which is one of the most dubious pieces of historical reference in the history of mankind. and why your all knowing and merciful god would want to rain fire on us and turn water into blood is beyond comprehension.

  • @dar13y

This is where I really get fed up of you atheists. Just because a compilation of letters and books is known as "The Bible", doesn't decrease their position as historical record. You aren't being fair with the Bible, you have vested interest in disbelieving.

What you think is possible doesn't decide whether or not those who wrote the Bible were lieing, you aren't being logical or fair because you think people act without motivation.

  • @TheColaGoodfellow, oh i think they had plenty of motivation, iv'e already stated, money and power. i accept that biblical archaeology has confirmed the existence of many people, places, and events mentioned in the Bible, but also many critical scholars have argued that the Bible be read not as an accurate historical document, but rather as a work of literature and theology that often draws on historical events, and mythology combined.

  • @dar13y

Again, they really wanted money and power when they told the churches they didn't want it, good reasoning. And I bet they told the people they could do miracles because that would surely prove they're honest wouldn't it?

I'm sorry, but you're denying an collection of witnesses simply because you think you're god enough to say the miracles are impossible, and that's about it. And the same about any scholars who deny it.

  • @TheColaGoodfellow

This is a task to completion no more sin evil black death does no longer exist not even the word.

Do not go looking around corners for miracles; we only do things once up here. My architect collected my will and you will get miracles when you need them.

  • @dar13y they got no weath or power from saying jesus is the resurected son of god. dont know weather uve ever actually listened to a history lesson but if you have you would know they all died persicuted in one way or other

  • @TheColaGoodfellow

im a christian and to me being created by the process science calls evolution is absoballylutly amazing. I meen if you want a god who can make the world at the click of a finger you can always sign up to grec or roman mythology.

  • @nanaozaki1

God is capable of anything, if you're a Christian you should know that. Evolution of the creating degree is not science, even mathematicians admit that the chances of that being the case are 1 in millions. It's more likely that God simply created the world in the state dating measures find it and re-organised the world after the flood.

  • @TheColaGoodfellow Yet maybe not. The amazing thing is that: God is capable of anything yet instead of the easy route he went the hard one and instead of the short the long. He took time to make you, to put love into what he did like an artist takes time and care for his cration so God did. He wanted to make something perfect and beautiful for those people he wanted to lavish love on.

  • @TheColaGoodfellow ...He didnt make us on a whim and so I can safely say for certain that even now, 4 million years after he first made man, he still loves us. That is the beauty revealed by science with the discovery of evolution. God Bless.

  • @nanaozaki1 dude you can't honestly call yourself a christians while at the same time openly denying what God has told us in the bible, Evolution is a theory, a theory that is completely wrong, and also a theory that the bible disproves. There is more evidence disproving evolution than there is proving it (there is none proving it). Even without looking at the christian side of things, it is easy to see that evolution makes absolutely no sense, and is completely unrealistic.

  • @TABUSINTACBOY yes Ican andpround of it. I believe in christ and I am also a firm evolutionist. When I wake up in the morning I'm amazed by the beauty of what god created, the intricacy of this creaton but most of all by the time God took to create this perfect world. 4 billion years to make a place for us. Have you ever ceated something that took you a lot of time and effort? The care you have shown in making it far outstrips the care you put into something you made in an instant ...

  • @nanaozaki1 Thankyou , i am as well. I just believe that God created this world through evolution and that Jesus was God's son. Never thought anyone else believed this way.

  • @Kurosaki2Ichigo9 dont worry there are loads of us you just need to know were to look. If your interested read Francis Collins book hes a evolutionist very respected in the science world who is also a believer his book is great =)

God Bless and dont give up on faith or science. Both are good

  • @nanaozaki1 I'll have to read it. I read up about it it sounds interesting. God bless

  • @TABUSINTACBOY As for your so called proof you might want to check ur sources cos I know a lot of things that bring proof for evolution. Just start with the fact that totally unrelated projects such as Francis Collins genome project and reseach done by the natural history museum have come up with the same results.

  • @TABUSINTACBOY And I might add that Francis Collins becme a christian as a result of his reseach on the genome and evolution becaue he discovered in it the glory and beauty of Gods love for us. read his book you might understand

  • @TABUSINTACBOY Could you please inform us all, especially the scientific community, as to the evidence disproving evolution? Evolution is fact, it is as much a theory as the Earth revolving around the Sun, there is absolutely no evidence for God.

  • @TABUSINTACBOY Finally somebody who has it right. If evolution is true, then the Bible is a lie. I personally choose to believe in a loving saviour who fashioned man in his image on the 6th day of creation. I personally find it easier to believe in divine intervention than dirt exploding and here we are. I believe in God, the Eternal one, the creator of the Universe, the I Am that I Am.

  • @lonzenator thanks, these other people will find out just how wrong they are soon enough, I don't even want to argue with them...

  • @TABUSINTACBOY I love how people claim evolution to be "FACT" and treat is as "fact" when even the "scientific community" calls it "theory." I remember studying environmental science my 2nd semester at the University, the prof stated very clearly that he had to admit that while he believe in the theory of evolution he recognized it was just a theory. A belief system if you would. For all his believing he could never "prove any thing beyond his belief. After all who created the matter.

  • @TABUSINTACBOY that right the dark matter at the basis of that theory. Or why do monkies still not give birth to men or men to monkies. ....?

  • @lonzenator which part of bible the OT, or new. Jesus came with new teaching and was killed for it. The jews who wrote genesis accept it as a metaphor. It is a metaphor. I studied Theology Science, Medicine, Engineering. Humans can make dna in a lab. Humans originate in Africa 200,000 years ago. If came from othther species can be debated, but 6 day creation with earth 6000 years is false. Jesus existed yes he called himself son of man, came 4 peace his rivals had him killed.

  • @meggab2003 Again, I must state it as follows, Show me your proof that evolution is fact. It is still called a theory. IF I am not mistaken, in science the goal is not proving a positive, but trying to disprove a negative. In otherwords ruling out false statements. I am not saying that I am the most educated person on earth (I only have a Master's degree and practice in a clinical setting with a license in clinical social work. I too have completed a 4 year program in a seminary apart from that.

  • @meggab2003 Your "fact:" is missing its evidence. Where is the evidence. Even C4 dating has been proven by some people to be inaccurate. Therefore, your dating schema is based on a false foundation. Again, trying to turn a theory into a fact is akin to turning an apple into an orange. As for creating life in a test tube. What matter did you start with? How did you create that matter? What did you use to create it? Also did you create the test tube from nothing??

  • @meggab2003 You believe that with such strong conviction, yet we don't have enough evidence to prove the Big Bang guess as truth.

The original interpretation of the use of days in the book of Genesis is defined as 24 hour days.

  • @metaljaybird It is amazing that we are called "blind followers of a myth." Yet the existence of Jesus is a historical fact. The Creation of the earth was given a detailed account by Moses in his writings. I don't think he considered it a fable or story. I guess it is pray for God to open @meggab2003's eyes. No more fighting or arguing the point from my end. let the blind lead the blind.

  • @meggab2003 the bible teaches in the New Testament that all things were created by God through Christ and he (Christ) was there in the begining, that is why genesis says "let US make man in OUR own image" Christ was their at creation, he believed it, the apostles believed and every other NT person so to say that it was a metaphor to jews is wrong because they were all jews to begin with why they would die for a lie? Try asking the holy spirit to show you instead of relying on earthly answers.

  • @meggab2003 secondly Jesus did not come for peace he even said himself "for i did not come to bring peace, but a sword". Jesus came to fullfull the Old testament prophesies he was killed because he stood up for the reality of God and not man made religion. The religion of the OT existed to protect the Jewish line until the coming of the Christ who would make a new and living to have a relationship with God, this is reason there is not other way to be saved than through Christ. seek God!

  • Comment removed

  • @meggab2003 Have you even read the bible? The sword was a metaphor "when Christ said ive come to bring a sword" he was meaning his words would divide people like a sword divides things in two. If you want peace prepare for war. Secondly leviticus, the apostle paul said the these laws were to protect the jews until the time of Christ, like a bodygaurd almost, keeping them safe, free from corruption or diease etc, now we have Christ we slive in him and the holy spirit guides in to good.

  • @CelestialDependency u said he came 2 make war. i reda bible 40 times i have a doctyorate in theology and a MD. jESUS KILLED NO ONE. oK the disciples said he said so after 40 years. He was killed he was a man. Jesus did not say he was teh creator. The ARIANS, JW, many other christians dont think he is god he is a man. He is the Son of Man. If he was god why would he let little girls get raped.Which spirit?

  • @meggab2003 I see you don't understand taht we are still at free will. Christ coming didn't take that away from man-kind. He doesn't cause these evil acts. the evil in the hearts of mankind who have decided that they want nothing of God, do these acts. It, also, is a collective whole that brings disasters upon nations. God set things in motion, that can not be broken. We, as a nation, brought disaster upon ourselves for our turning from God, and indulging in sinfulness. See Deuteronomy

  • @CelestialDependency A god who did not come for peace is a wargod like in OT Jehovah. Also moses di not write the 5 books a group of authors redactors did and compiled it. I suggest going seminary getting a doctorate before spouting violence. A hateful god would aprove 911. The psalams advocates infanticide, "blessed are those who dash little ones against stones". Read up more.

  • @meggab2003 ha ha dude your a troll go away, your mad at your dad dont blame it on God. Jesus said "you seek the scriptures even though they speak of me, you find nothing" thats because you dont have the holy spirit who is the leader into all truth. take your fake doctorate and cramm it, you aint got one, you cant even spell it!

  • @meggab2003 There is way more to the bible and God's word then a couple scriptures ,there are many meanings and reasons for Gods plan ,Remember he made us and we turned our back on him,He loves us with all his heart, mind, soul and strength, that love is uncompryhenable. I probably didn't spell that right, but anyway's God loves us so very much and we just scorn him.I for one am going to try and make that up to him and i pray that you find him.God bless.

  • @TheColaGoodfellow dont you find it much more beautiful that he took 4 billion years to create a perfect world for you to live in where everything is made with absolut love and care. I think that evolution gives god more credit and glory than intelligent design and people how say intelligent design is science should be ashamed cos it is pushing more and more people away from faith because the science is so convincing
