@TearAHart it was actually pretty easy. he asked her if she did any extreme sport which is a broad question and gave her a random example. it just so happened that example happened to be something she actually does. now if she hadn't been into cliff jumping, then she would probably say no to it and respond with a sport she is actually into. then he could continue the charade and say he was also into that sport.
