We beat 11 1A team this past year and 13 the year before. I'm sure what you're thinking of is BCS team. And so you know, its a great way for good fcs teams that do not get national exposure to get noticed. And this actually happens more than you think. Maybe not fcs teams beating top 25 bcs teams but fcs teams beating higher ranked fbs teams is not uncommon.
Wrong. It happens every year. Just this weekend, 3 "1A" teams went down to teams from the CAA in FCS. Villanova, William and Mary, and Richmond beat teams from the ACC and A-10. 1 of 1,000,000, I think not.

These games are no longer abberations. These are the norm, but the BCS teams are still too high on themselves to admit it, too chickenshit to sign up and play them regularly.
I agree. And as all of the lower division high schools say in my area, division doesn't dictate how good you are, it dictates how small the school is. Sure there with be some funding issues because of the small size, but that doesn't mean they are horrible teams.

I am pro-playoff, but the reality is colleges are run by whores. A 16 team playoff will only happen if the season is 10 games, not 12. The bastards won't give up the extra games' money.
At least with my 7/3/2 BCS and 7/5 non-BCS schedule, non-BCS teams can demand and GET a schedule good enough to earn and win a national championship. Right now, not even Utah's season is enough.
If the BCS-only fix were removed, I could live with the bowl games. A playoff is better, but it won't happen.
i,m split on this, i like it when a smaller school beats a large school. however, BCS conference schools should play all the non conference games against other BCS conference schools. i mean, our national champion, florida, had the citadel on their schedule. they should have been punished by the voters for having such a weak game on the schedule, especially for it being so late in the season. i think if BCS schools played against BCS schools non conference, they would be no need for a playoff.

We beat 11 1A team this past year and 13 the year before. I'm sure what you're thinking of is BCS team. And so you know, its a great way for good fcs teams that do not get national exposure to get noticed. And this actually happens more than you think. Maybe not fcs teams beating top 25 bcs teams but fcs teams beating higher ranked fbs teams is not uncommon.

Wrong. It happens every year. Just this weekend, 3 "1A" teams went down to teams from the CAA in FCS. Villanova, William and Mary, and Richmond beat teams from the ACC and A-10. 1 of 1,000,000, I think not.

App state has to be one of the most feared opponents anybody could ask for outside of BCS conference leaders, yes I mean they aren't Texas, but I'd rather play Baylor than App, Northwestern instead of Ohio State, Seton Hall over W. These games are no longer abberations. These are the norm, but the BCS teams are still too high on themselves to admit it, too chickenshit to sign up and play them regularly.

I agree. And as all of the lower division high schools say in my area, division doesn't dictate how good you are, it dictates how small the school is. Sure there with be some funding issues because of the small size, but that doesn't mean they are horrible teams.

The solution:
1) The NCAA schedules games, not the teams.
2) 7 in conference games for everybody
3) 3 out of conference BCS games for BCS teams, 1/month
4) Non-BCS teams can demand as many BCS opponents as they want. If Boise State says "We want four BCS games", they get two at home and two on the road.
Schedules should not be done a decade in advance. If a good team wants a tough schedule for a run at the national title, they should be able to get it.

I am pro-playoff, but the reality is colleges are run by whores. A 16 team playoff will only happen if the season is 10 games, not 12. The bastards won't give up the extra games' money.
At least with my 7/3/2 BCS and 7/5 non-BCS schedule, non-BCS teams can demand and GET a schedule good enough to earn and win a national championship. Right now, not even Utah's season is enough.
If the BCS-only fix were removed, I could live with the bowl games. A playoff is better, but it won't happen.

i,m split on this, i like it when a smaller school beats a large school. however, BCS conference schools should play all the non conference games against other BCS conference schools. i mean, our national champion, florida, had the citadel on their schedule. they should have been punished by the voters for having such a weak game on the schedule, especially for it being so late in the season. i think if BCS schools played against BCS schools non conference, they would be no need for a playoff.

why would you want a hard non conference game when teams like LSU, Ohio State, and Virginia Tech have hard CONFERENCE games, and saying 1-aa teams are easy ur just showing ur not a expert herby, look at this year, cal poly vs wisconsin, cal poly would have won if they hit their extra points
