@Schottkey7thPath It's a quality speaker, very reliable. There are many presets and frequency settings at the speakers back panel. You can get it to sound punchy or make it go really low at high volume. It surprised me how low it goes, considering it's a PA-sub. I just needed to put a little bit more volume, but it went as far as around 30Hz. I didn't measure the dB's, but I think the SPL claim is quite accurate. I used earmuffs when testing high volume, and it was really loud & consistent.
@Schottkey7thPath If you plan to use it in a big place and especially in a band situation (for example if you mic a bass drum), it's probably best to buy 2 of them, but it's just my guess. I haven't had a chance to try it in a big place. On its own it's still good. I don't think you will be disappointed, I wasn't. It's better than the older FBT-subs mainly because of the different factory preset and crossover settings.
what can you tell me about the ProMaxx 15SA? I am strongly considering purchasing it.
Does the SPL claim seem accurate? Can you compare it to anything? Any downsides?
