Tell me, why would I buy a USA custom Anderson when I can get a USA custom Carvin for 1/4 the price? The quality difference is barely even perceivable..
@danyeo dude, you need to play this guitar yourself to hear the difference. you can't tell the difference on a youtube video with compressed audio. then you're a liar or you're just a poser.
When I saw the band Death many moons ago the "session live" guitarist used a Tom Anderson that looked like this one but it was blue'ish in color. But Strat lookin'. It was pretty impressive seeing a guy use what I thought was a Fender Strat for that kinda music. Talked to him after the show and he educated me that it was a custom built Anderson. This show was in 1995. I'd love to own one today but I like custom Brian Moore's more since the shop is close to where I live.
please don't use cheap effects with this guitar. They're the BEST, they need to be respected. Nice natural OD with a victoria will get U to the ORGASMIC universe
That action is still too low...you can hear the fret smack on the front end...which really does compromise tone , if you are particular about tone. Ironically, these guitars give you great tone with that low of an action...but I imagine after a few years of playing, you'll need to raise your action due to fret wear. WHO is qualified to return these guitars to the same playability as when they leave the factory?
@guitfrank there's a video entitled "Kirk Hammett Solo at Live Shit: Binge and Purge - Seattle". Looks like a Tom Anderson to me, but I could be wrong.
Sweet Guitar !!

@shipleyshipster hmm you answered your own question. if you can barely percieve the difference, then clearly its not for you :)

@shipleyshipster If you can't tell the difference then you deserve the Carvin.

Yeah I think so, are you talking about the silverburst strat?
CharvelDude94 2 years ago
He's not worthy to play a Tom Anderson. Keep his girly vibrato to the ESP's.
danyeo 2 years ago
@AraGuitar
yes he did. The clean guitar intro to "enter sandman" was a TA drop top.
