no offence sephiroth fans but.... sephiroth no matter how tough he fights and how brutally strong he appears couldnt even wreck enough havok to really be on my list of final fantasy bosses. For an example a court magician gone joker(batman) has more spunk than him. Kefka on the other hand actually managed to gain the power of three gods and actually caused discord. What does sephiroth do? Summon a giant red rock to destroy the planet that gets crushed by holy and that battle was too easy for me

@afrocook88 Eternal debate.Kefka was the last "Destroyer"-type boss in final fantasy series. Sephiroth is middle phase FF bosses who are motivated out of personal feelings and desires rather than pure hate for the world. In dissidia Sephiroth took the middle ground choosing not to side with those who just wanted to destroy everything nor to those who wanted to dominate everything. He chose something that is much more important to him than either of those two goals: His pride.

If you think about it, sephiroth is indeed powerful, but can't truly powerful, because he is insane. Sure he can go on his total rampage but because he was the best soldier at the time doesn't mean he is now. Zack could have beat him with a bit more training, and because that sword itself is powerful, it can block any attack from sephiroth. Besides from the black materia which could totally destroy everything but it would be a waste of power in his case, because he likes fighting with the sword.

The only way to come even close to taking out seph if he uses all his power is too put cloud, zack, genesis, angeal and reno in the same room. Reno? Coz he's epicly awesome and would probably kill seph accidentally

That's if Sin could keep up with Sephiroth's speed. I say Seph would just Octaslash and cut Sin to shreds before Sin could even use gravity powers. You never see his true potential in the game, because no-one can push him to his limits. Cloud got a lucky shot because his back was turned, and weakened him. Even throwing him into the lifestream didn't kill him, despite it being where everyone in the story goes when they die o.O

i think sephiroth hasnt really used his full potential yet, because he always understimates his enemies =( he shows his true potential once for a very brief moment when he fights against genesis.

We only ever see bits and pieces of his full potential. If you put the little differences from all the games and Advent Children together, you will see that he is the most powerful of anyone in the Final Fantasy world, if he were to really and truly fight, he has the potential to fight on the level of the god Chaos. Although I believe that underneath all the bad that he does, he is still the ultimate Hero. I think he keeps trying to destroy the world in order to save it.

In the Final Fantasy universe, none of the bad guys do match up to him.

Jecht = Strong, fast, but not fast enough. Seph would shred him.

Kuja = Powerful magic, but Seph would cut through it, like he did with Genesis'.

Ultimecia = Again, powerful magic, but Seph's too fast.

Kefka = Even more powerful magic, but Seph's still too fast.

ExDeath = Strong, powerful magic; Seph would have trouble here, but he's far too slow to be a real challenge to Seph.

Golbez = Same as ExDeath vs. Seph.

Garland = Would actually pose a threat. He has a lot of power. Seph would still win, though, and for the same reason as everyone else he fights.

If seph used all of his power, he'd quite easily win. He toyed with Cloud in Advent Children (admittedly, he paid for it) and in Crisis Core, Sephiroth survived Cloud throwing him into the lifestream (which only happened because Cloud landed a powerful cheap shot on him a moment earlier).

The best part of the Sephiroth battle in Nibelheim was this song. I found Sephiroth to be a bit weak... I beat him in less than one minute on both forms of the battle, and I only took about 1800 total damage.

Well technically, the fights of Sora against Sephiroth happen in a different dimension. One where Aerith is still alive and other cooky shit like that. That's officially how it is in the Kingdom Hearts world, so the Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts isn't the Sephiroth frm FFVII. Aint that odd?
