Wonder if Dudley Doright is originally from Scotland or Nova Scotia (possibly Northern Nova Scotia or Cape Breton) as he seems to have a Scottish accent?

I'm originally from Nova Scotia myself, and notice many Nova Scotians have a Scottish accent to some degree, more so in Cape Breton and Northern Mainland Nova Scotia.
