these kids are not brainwashed. they Experienced the love of God themselves! Humans aren't capable of what our great God can do, even thoug most capable among other beings. If we stay stuck up and think we can explain everything through science, that's too foolish. Clever people know that human has its limitations, they know that there's a great God out there willing to share fatherly love with anyone who accepts. I believe the demonstrated authority of scientific explanations of the world, and so choose not to rely on wishful thinking like what would be entailed for belief in a god! I feel atheism is safe because if there is a god, he or she couldn't possible be as cruel as history has portrayed--as to let people choose to go to hell because they had a freewill to ask serious questions, and if there is not a god you are free to live life to it's fullest without religiously imposed dogmatic repressions.

If there is no God, i loss nothing.. But if there is a God, (and surely there is) you loss everthing.. There to look on the sky on a dark clear moonless night.. Or watch the sun shine on the top of a mountain.. Listen for awhile and see if you can say that there is no God..^^

This implies there are consequences for not believing. This threat is the loss to me, others and society as a whole. Can you also see, depending on the degree of afflicted god-belief you have, that you may be setting yourself up for ignorance of the world. That would not only be a loss to you, but a loss to me and the rest of the world.

God wants reverance from us. When we sing, we sing to him. When we worship, we worship him. It goes beyond that though. Everyone knows music and songs influence us. Making songs of God and listening to them encourages people my friend. To here that our God is super strong tells listeners that our God has power. Hes not weeak, hes mighty. It is not so much the song but he sees us do with the song as inspiration for him. Do you understand better now?
