Chinan Chiru Kiliye is sung by many singers. But I think Mahadai Shobana has rendered this song wiht full "Bhava". When she sings "Un Kannil Neer Valinthal En Nenjil Uthiram Kottuthadi", the full emotion of a mother's love to her little daughter is pouring out...I am proud to be born as Tamil and has opportunity to hear and understand Mahakavi Subramanya Bharathi's song.

The first line addresses the child in many different ways, as a treasure, a sweet songbird, a speaking golden portrait, etc....The next lines say , when you run to me, my heart is overcome, when I see you dancing, my soul reaches to you. It goes on like this. So Basically the song expresses the pure love from a mother to her child by saying the many ways the mother adores her. Message me if you want a fuller translation
