@dragonmastersteve if you are a serious player i would recommend the second gen flying v. Don't get me wrong this is a reasonably ok guitar but you can get better for the same price. If your more of a shredder than a chugger would recommend an ibanez from the rj series, fluid like neck when playing and is just an al-round good guitar, but if your more of a thrashy sound i would go for a higher end kerry sig or an esp MH.

if your going to get this guitar get different pickups because the standard bc rich one's aren't the best.if u don't want to do so i would say u should get sumthin from the NJ series.they still have bc rich pickups but they have a higher output,and if your buying from a shop make sure and check the edges of the guiatr because when i got mine the paint on the egdes had worn away nd had sum dings in it,and also check the widow headstock for hairline cracks, they aren't the strongest of headstocks.
