I was there. It was really annoying because the red flag lasted for about a half hour. There was also a red flag later because a car flipped over the wall in the esses by himself and destroyed the armco in the process.

The Glen isn't made for NASCAR. Its made for Grand Prix/Indy style cars, that's what it was designed for.

VIR or Laguna Seca would be much better choices for a road course for NASCAR.

No, the way drivers race in NASCAR makes them need tracks that are wider than the Glen.

F1 needs only one thing to win. Money. There are only 3 teams in F1 that are always competitive, instead of the 20+ that can win a race in NASCAR.

If you start farther back than 6th, you know you will never win in F1, unless 4 of the top 6 starters crash out.

At least Indy can win from the rear. F1 can't even score points if they start farther back than 10th, its just not gonna happen.
