guys, you are abusing the batteries, they are misbalanced. simply putting two panels in series (smaller ones), a diode to prevent backflow and you could charge the whole bank properly. 38-40 volts directly into the 36 volt bank will greatly extend your range. simple is always better. check out my site sometime.
