I can only attest to the Wereo. I have no reason to judge or not judge any of these other supposed dry soundboard recordings of California Jam. I made the only three hours of Radio that matters from the Jam and I'm very happy with this. Awl else is in the periphery and is disinformation. I don't care if it is from the Jam or not. I only care about my miraculous wereo and I'm mot taking on any others.

In my expert opinion this is not California Jam. First of all there's too much ECHO making it sound like an indoor arena. Second of all this is a differnt tone altogether than the broadcasted California Jam Series. My expert opinion is this is NOT California Jam. Sorry!

I'll even elaborate. I have the whole show, with all the track in between banter. Before 'Killing Yourself to Live' he mentions "I've never seen so many people in my life, man", just like he does if you watch the video of the track that's posted here. Immediately after that song they play "War Pigs" followed by "Snowblind". This posted version cuts out all the pre-song banter, but it has the EXACT same count off by Bill and in-between banter by Ozzy. You're expert opinion is WRONG.

I did the sound for the televised portions of California Jam. I'm trying to figure out if this soundtrack is actually California Jam. So far I'd say it is not. We all know the picture certainly is not.

This is California Jam. My audio is way less boomy and echoey than this, but Ozzy says the same stuff between the lyrics and it matches up perfectly. This does sound like it is almost indoors, but that's just this source. Plus this doesn't have the pre and post track banter, and mine does...which verfies that it it is Cali. Jam.

Given the excellence and energy of great Sabbath's performance---the audience cheering on Children of the Grave sounds like the roar of the Roman Games---why hasn't there been an "official" dvd issued of the Sabbath concert? Why not of the whole Cal Jam series? I was at the 2nd one (which could not compare to the 1st if only because of Black Sabbath), and even the double LP of 2 is out of print. 74 and 78 were long ago, people are dying, how long do they have to wait?
