Moira Kerr is a fantastic singer and highly prized Scottish musician/ songwriter. I have many fond fond memories of driving to the highlands for a hill walk and listening to her music in the car which added to the total experience. I think she is fantastic and would like to see more of her songs on youtube. Her GlenCoe and where eagles fly songs to Hamish's series where phenomenal. Hope to hear more of her music soon. Makes me proud to be Scottish.
@tarlander1 my blood is only partly scottish. but i have visited that magical land twice.i smile every time i see picturers of the city of Edinburgh, a place whos wonder i can only bigein to describe. i may have been born in america, but that place is my home. not one single day goes by where i dont yearn to return. and the next time i go. i will not leave.
I think this is definately the best song Moira Kerr sings - excellent. I first heard it when it was aired on BBC Scotland circa 1987 to accompany a documentary called 'Eagles Eyeview' or something similar. It showed scenes of Glencoe from the view of an eagle - this track was a perfect accompaniment to the programme. Best wishes.
I'm descended from clan Donald (MacDonald) and damn proud of that.

i'm 100% Scottish, and the Mcdonald clan did not deserve to die! No one has the right to take another life human or animal!

I bought the CD in 1994, and I visited Scotland in 2006. Thank you for the nice memories.

I don't think the uploader has ever been to Scotland. It's a song about the Highlands (Glencoe, specifically) and there's photos of Edinburgh.

@steam10000 But over 300 years ago, yes the story stirs the blood, but it was our ancestor's fight, not ours.
