  • 80. What an incredible number.

  • Hey, we can kill a lot of people in one shot, and we are proud of it! Hooray! Aren't we the nicest people on Earth?

  • B2's and the like only work when targetting low level countries..in real war situation they would never make it to the target..

  • THATS GOOD SHIT MATE

  • incredible.

  • They move so fucking fast.

  • them realy thinking that them will destroy sa-6 with gleading bombs?

  • @FMorris308 Dropped from 70.000 feet, they can probably be dropped out of SA-6 range, esp since the B2 is stealth. SA-10 is a another story of course ;)

  • @jakobole Im more scary about that the B 2 have celing 16000km, and interceptional range of exported CUB is 14tk.Sure you could defeat any stone age army with anything. But Their position Must be covered by long range S-300 or 200. and if you thing that CUB with radar range 75km LL be just staing and wait when LL saw B-2 at maximal celing, It ll go away from their position and GPS guided JDAM ll atack leaved,Is'nt b-2 don't have posibly to lounch Laser. Is'nt Lantirn at 15km isbullshit

  • im guessing those were all dumy bombs with little explosive in them, just to test the guidence systems, am i right in saying that?

  • @shiyboy4 Ahem, the title says "inert rounds", which basicly means they are "blanks" ;)

  • @jakobole oh right, sozza, didnt know wat inert meant.

  • @jakobole What are the 'runaway hits'-are those hits on a mobile target, or are they the jdams that veeered off target, ie the ones that missed their target?

  • @mnnh1 It's not "runaway", but "runway". They hit their intended target, at simulated runway ;)

  • how many bombs can that plane hold for like 10 seconds you just watch bombs come out of the plane

  • @TheWarrockrocks97 That was a full load, 80 of the 500-pounders. It can carry 32 of the 1000-pound or 16 of the 2000-pound versions.

  • anybody thinking garrysmod right now ? lol

  • Take the explosives off em just drop 1000lb weights and Make some Taliban scrambled eggs

  • @googy666 We started doing just that in Iraq around the same time they did this video, out of the realization that the 2000-pound version can knock the crap out of vehicles next to "sensitive" civilian installations like mosques and hospitals. The guy who came up with the idea got a one-grade promotion and $25,000 cash for it...

  • im guessing inert means without the explosive part?

  • @USMCplusMETAL yeah, exact same bomb with exact same weight and guidence systems, just no explosive

  • Pretty impressive hit percentage

  • Did that one say MUAMMAR on it?

  • Those JDAMs have pretty shitty CEP.

  • Tthe next mission is targeting the ghettos and projects blow all those monkeys up.

  • B-2 the rain of terror

  • USA, what a frightening country!

  • lol. The start of the video with the B-2 dropping 80 JDAM's makes it look like a pet rabbit pooping laser-guided bombs. I bet a lot of countries in the world wished they had the B-2 for a pet rabbit. Sorry guys, only for U.S. use and protection of its allies. xD

  • 80 JDAMS? holllyyy shiiit xD

  • That would be some crazy shock and aw from the ground

  • The 80 dropped at once was impressive. Something like half the rounds went off target but they didn't bother counting them. Guess it is still a kill if the warhead is big enough.

  • I wanted explosions, this doesn't give me a hard-on.

  • Thumbs up if you get turned on by all those JDAMs dropping, god if only that was a live fire test. I'd have creamed my pants.

  • Please, Challenge the United States =)

  • I bet one of those missiles costs more than my car

  • @killosopher assuming you drive something modest and under $70,000 then yes live versions of them would =P

  • Impressive. Especially when you consider that a bomber could fly over an airfield and cause a lot of serious damage even with those inert bombs.

I assume the targets are chosen and assigned before the mission begins rather than the targets being input in flight?

  • @HelC001 : Yes, these are preprogrammed, but it's not like the enemy is going to move a hangar or runway overnight ;)

  • @HelC001 The thing with JDAM's is your aircraft doesn't need to fly over the airfield. JDAM's can be dropped upto 14km away from the target and glide in.

  • Amazing.

  • Holy.... They can guide them all at once??? I didn't know that!

  • @Stover36 : Each bomb is programmed seperately, so the launching aircraft are not guiding anything as such. The bombs guides themselves. It's more complicated than that, but still....

  • What's with those burn marks? Where do they come from?

  • @tjpld

It is the high kinetic energy that the falling bombs bring. They hit the ground and the energy turns into heat and glows everything around it.

  • holy c**p. So it just simultaneously takes out an air-base, the air defences, and a nearby tank park......... One plane takes out all major assets on an entire enemy flank, brutal.

  • scary shit. when stuff like this becomes declassified, it's terrifying to think what's behind the "classified curtain"

  • germany gets the JDAM for Tornado and Typhoon as second contractor after the US.

because we want to outphase our cluster bombs.

  • So when will you upload the live run?? :-)

  • Damn! How many bombs can you put in that B2?!?

  • google it...

  • As the title says - "intert" ;)

  • @jakobole I flew in a b-2 simulator with pilot Mike Means. Only take off fly and land due to its secrecy but I live by that base. I see them all the time. Nice Video

  • @crippincraccin cool! I cant say I don't envy you ;)

  • yes your right cscmole

they do not have a explosive warhead

  • JDAM is a system that targets the bomb its not the bomb and in Iraq JDAM shows other results these bombs deviate with 20 to 100 meters

  • the damage is so little

  • Because there are no explosives involved - inert rounds ;)

  • the damage is little because there is no explosive in these bombs... they are jus testing the how accurate they are

  • Nice initial BDA. No need for secondary BDA

  • lol

  • Just want you to know that this video is amazing... thanks for putting it up!

  • When I searched for JDAM I thought I would see an explosion that will last for 2 minutes not only a 2 seconds of smoke!

    But still not bad

But is this is the JDAM?!?! thoughtit would be stronger

  • Ya - I'm sorry. These are only intert training rounds with no explosives

  • Oh then its ok!

I thought this is the JDAM!!

I were dissappointed when I saw this

But now im not after watching another videos:D

  • man jdam is a system that target the bomb its not the bomb

  • thanks for the info

  • Really?

    I didnt know that....

    lol

  • i think they just used inert rounds for testing

  • WTF, I've never seen that many bombs come out of a B2.

  • since this type of weapon is gps glided and as far as I know does not have any type of terminal, path seeker. i.e. if anything in the impact area move it would hit where the equipment was originally.

how did they program all these weapons? sat data? drone data? ground gps data.

How practical would that type of attract be in the real world. Other than that ya, it was impressave.

  • GPS. In this clip they are simulating hitting structures, and they certainly don't move ;)

But I do think that never generation JDAMS can be programmed "on the fly" (no pun intended ;), by either coordinates or using a laser-designator-pod (SNIPER or LANTIRN).

Wether they can be re-programmed in flight, I don't know.

  • Now Lets do it with 80 2500lbs JDAMS.

  • I whanted to see non inert bombs hits.

  • lol, usin bowling balls

  • Can the military use bowling balls as non-explosive bombs?

  • they would just split aaaahhhh gd for shrapnel put metal balls in em or sumthin this could work maybe cause the pay load on the plane would be huge

  • I think if they do it has to be mandatory to actually bowl them out the back of a c130 or something like they are at a ten pin bowling alley.

  • Russia has nothing close to US JDAM in terms of cost/efficiency due to lack of serious military R&D in last decade. In case of war, Russia's air force bases can be destroyed in one hour.

  • thats what i like to hear!!!!!!!!!!

  • You're really underestimating the Russians. Russia's air force bases can be destroyed in one hour if the attacking force manages to get anything fired past the advanced detection systems.

During the Balkan wars in the mid 90's Russian made AA missiles shot down a STEALTH Bomber... and that's with field deployed weapons, not even talking about the defense systems.

  • ozpowermo: F-117 was destroyed with help of spy in NATO headquarter. It's was the only significant victory in that war. Nothing serious. Serb's didn't shot down B-1, B-2, B-52, just few F-16/18 and one F-117 - this is not serious for such big local war.

  • @Max291975

My point is that the F-117 was shot down with a truck-mounted missile that has been in service since 1963! Russia has MANY much more capable missiles and weapons systems that are plenty capable of detecting and destroying pretty much anything the US has to offer.

I'm not saying that Russia's military is superior to the US, but it is definitely not to be underestimated- it has PLENTY of VERY capable weapons that will not make it easy for the US.

  • he said it can make a kill within an 8 mile radius after being dropped learn english before posting.

  • he didn't say it killed everyone in 8 miles, he said that the b-2 drop the bombs 8 miles up and they all hit the targets. Also the Tsar bomb had a blast radius of 5 miles so I think we can kill everyone in 8 now a days.

  • goeetfuk, he meant 8 miles for the ground and made a direct hit.

a 9MT nuke has a fireball of 2 miles in diameter and a shockwave extending over 8-10 times that distance, so 8 miles are well within the bounds of destruction.

  • That would be so much cooler with the addition of napalm and Wagner.

  • and imagine if there was a whole squadron of them >:O

  • about 8 miles up... and ALL kill hits.. this is just MADNESS... now if we could drop it on all these youtube haters... talking smack about the US because their country is lacking..... sorry but the US is the KING of technology of war.. 280 BILLION DOLLARS WORTH.....

  • eer why isnt it exploding,oh man i want it to explode!! well anyway, wat i know is even the jdam misses its tartget its explosion still destroy its main target

  • What makes JDAM so integral part of the United States Military is that all the JDAM comprises of is tail fins and the computer guiding it to the target. So basically it can go on any dumb bomb and make it smart meaning you can guide it to the particular target. What's so great it costs 25,000-30,000 dollars to put on any dumb like I said before. With its heavy use by the US military, its accuracy rate is 95%.

  • now do it again with explosive :O

  • b-2, It rains hell!

  • that B2 took one big shit!

  • 'wrong hits'?

If they had had explosives in them, I bet ya that none of the intended targets would've been left standing....

How can a hit be 'wrong'?

  • One weapon was not a direct hit, and it was within weapon letal range..

    ;)

  • A bomber than can annihilate 80 distinct targets of varying hardness on a 1-mile run per pass is fucking intense.

However, those 250-lb JDAMs won't work against hardened aircraft shelters, so you'd have to change the gameplan.

  • The 500lbs JDAMs used contains no fuse and explosive load. The test is just for accuracy and coordination with simultaneously targeting several targets with 80 bombs.

  • I'd love to see a video of a B2 dropping JDAMs with warheads.

  • wow really impressive

don't want to go at war against the US :D

  • damn can't hide!!

  • daaaaaang

  • All the more impressive ;)

  • these are all just kinetic energy drops to see how accurately they hit, there are no explosive charges in these weapons... Search for 500lb bomb to see what just one of these JDAMS does with an explosive charge loaded
