it was basically an attempt by these canadian artists to get canadians to think about the upcoming election, this song was aimed at stephen harper's platform though. they take lots of shots at him in this "instead of just dressing it up in a sweater" harper wears a blue sweater in his commercials to seem more "cozy and fuzzy". this is mostly about the enviroment, because harper has NO enviromental plan for canada. but he pulled a stupid move, and will most likely not be PM for much longer. :D
