  • Is that Ken Bank or Kenb Ank? lol, nice stuff, I love the uke, Im trying to learn guitar first tho, hard when you get older like us. Coming to see your lovely Maui in May! To quote a famous actor "I'll be back!"

  • @ellonysman It's Ken Bank. LOL I wish you well in your guitar studies. One little factoid. The fingerings for the bottom four strings on the guitar work on the uke, too. Because of the difference in the string tunings, guitar chords when played on a uke are a fourth higher. For instance, C Major chord fingering on the guitar sounds as F Major on the uke and so on. So, in point of fact, by learning the guitar you are also learning the uke. What a deal! LOL

  • !!!

  • Bra take some english lessons or somthing no space in lahainaluna. Spell it right.

  • I don't need English lessons, my new found polyglot friend. What I need is Hawaiian lessons! LOL

  • Hi,

I was doing a search using the word "ukelele" and got more than I bargain for - this is great stuff! thanks for sharing this video!

  • Thank you and welcome to my channel. I will be posting more ukulele stuff in the near future so don't be a stranger!

  • Beautiful rendition. Thanks for this.

  • You're welcome. Thanks for the nice comment.

  • Great singer! congratulations! you have a very sweet voice. hope the rest of your family keep on sleeping, even if you're singing. very good performer, indeed.

    greetings from Sardinia.

  • Greetings! Thank you. How are things in Sardinia?

  • Hi, Ken, it's all fine but, after a strange summer (an incredibly rainy august) it's still too warm (20 C degrees or more, is not normal during winter, hope it will start to rain), and it seems we'll have no consequences for the hurricane which killed 30 human beigs in the north of the Europe. It's sad enough, but I think nature's riot is something we provoke. Sometimes I feel so afraid for what will happen in the future to our children. Anyway, my best wishes. Speak to ya soon,I hope.

  • Ehr.. Uhm... maybe I've been too gloomy in my previous comment. I'm sorry. Good things happen, anyway. Cheers!

  • Sorry to hear about the bad weather you had last summer. I hope all is calm now for you. Best regards.

  • Everything's all right, thank you. All is calm but winter seems so far, for now. Strange weather. Greetings!

  • Good one. Very pleasant on the ear.

  • Thank you, Dave. I'm happy you enjoyed it. It is one of my perennial favorites. I'm under some performance restraint as I usually do these videos after the rest of the family has gone to bed so I can't project like I normally do, but that might be better considering the mic situation.

  • You have almost John Denver's voice. I'd like to hear something from his repertoire.

  • Yes, that's a good idea. I'm pleased to hear a Polish fan of John Denver! You don't seem to get that many.

  • Thanks. I do know a few John Denver tunes. I'll work one up for you.
