I carry with ammo that I feel won't overpenetrate. Fully loaded it's under a pound. So easy to carry it's with me all the time.

@jtrod2007 this occured too ONE guy and i watched it and Ruger has been recalling the LCR back to fix it for free so what the hell is wrong ?? it is a great service in my opinion

Fired mine today..I love the gun, and carry it with confidence. BUT, I recommend you load it with HOT ammo to maximize the effect.
