Plate races are a crapshoot anyway. There is no 'worthy' winner. In any case, what's unworthy about Kenseth? He's one of the greatest drivers in NASCAR as well as very humble and down-to-earth.

@Leonefan well its not a crapshoot at daytona, ask the drivers, the track is very bumpy, and hard to maneuver, so it takes skill to get around other cars

It was so disappointing going to the Daytona 500 and seeing it rain shortened with an unworthy winner...

an unworthy winner he was a contender in the 06 07 and 08 daytona 500 and each time he was wrecked

I don't have to look at the stats, I've watched every Daytona 500 live since 1990. Whether he was a contender or not in previous years is irrelevant, the fact is he wasn't in this years race and would have never won if the race wasn't rain shortened. He's never done well at restrictor plate races, he's never won a restrictor plate race, and he probably never will again. I'm not saying he's not a good driver, but he won the Daytona 380, not the 500.

@themikeawesome hes probably in the top 5 or 10 of the current best nascar driver's he has 1 championship, has only missed the chase once, which happened to be the year that ford started struggling, and most of the time you will see him in the top 10 during a restrictor plate race. O and its ignorant to say he didn't win the 500, micheal waltrip won the 500 rain shortened event, nobody complains about that race. A win is a win.
