I've always found it stupid that people don't wear helmets while driving a car. Typically the crash itself wont kill you, but blunt trauma to the head will. A simple motorcycle helmet would easily prevent many deaths and I think i'll wear mine when I get a car.

You should really get some advice from an attorney, ask them to print you out a card giving the officer your rights as a disabled person so that the cop can read clearly that it is a violation of your civil rights to be stopped and questioned without cause.

Honestly, that cop had a lot of patience. Most of the time when a cop asks me for an ID I give it to him-he doesn't want your life story, he wants to make sure you're licensed and don't have a warrant,etc,etc. THEN you can discuss why he pulled you over and stuff. I've always found it stupid that people don't wear helmets while driving a car. Typically the crash itself wont kill you, but blunt trauma to the head will. A simple motorcycle helmet would easily prevent many deaths and I think i'll wear mine when I get a car.
