@strummerboy99 I'm from Hertfordshire, to be honest I don't think anywhere in England allows fires these days, but it nature and it belongs to all of us, so as long as we're sensible and we clean up after that's all that matters ay
Man I want to get out and do exactly this kind of stuff so badly!! I blew my knee out on labor day though and had surgery on it 2 weeks ago so I can't do much for about 4-6 months but this kind of stuff is all I can think about everyday!! I found this because as I'm sitting around I've been ordering new equipment & I think the Maxpedition Noatak is going to be my new bag!! Haven't found a bad review on it yet. Thanks for the great video!!
@jkulysses Ballbust, least it gives you a chance to read up on stuff and look at vids on here though. The Noatak is the mutts nuts, it's small though, like only for a day not overnight, I love Maxpedition can't get enough of it, my sister lives in US and just got her to send me the Falcon 2 over, so good too, more for an overnight or a couple of nights. There isn't anything that comes close to the quality and design in my opinion.
@bennyboyshaw Ya and thats exactly what I do 90% of the time and I'm also really into geocaching and i think it would be perfect for that. The Falcon 2 is actually the one I was looking at for anything other than a day hike. What part of the US is your sister in?? Im on the coast of Oregon & it's beautiful here. I can go 5 min to the beach & hike coastal trails or 5 min to the east are the mountains. You'd love it!
@jkulysses Oh yeah I heard of geocahing recently for the first time, I have no GPS (yet) so wouldn't be too good at it! It's a lovely bag, some many places for separating your kit, and attaching other bits and bobs. She's in LA we went for a slight hike when I was there last, but it's Hollywood, so there is a lot of women with personal trainers and little dogs hiking too, no really my scene! Yeah you definitely have it better off over there for a person into bushcraft, for lot's of reasons!
nice man the key is never give up sometimes you light a fire first time but most times it takes a few attempts its good to keep them in makes it realistic
thanks
