Good catch! I slide by there whenever I am in LaCrosse and have yet to catch this move, most often there are a pair of locos sitting on the curve in this shot.
Yeah, that's where I usually see them too. Right after taking this video, they dropped off the tank car and then tied up the units on that curve for the day.
Oh wow! Well, we were at the depot and caught the UP train heading west past us and then could see these guys working in the yard. They headed our way, so we found out where they were going, so we headed there. I'm glad we caught them there, then. :)
Well, it was the first time I have seen them go there. I have seen them a couple other times doing work. Usually when I go to La Crosse, I only really go to BNSF.
Nice job. I am trying myself to get the local jobs here in La Crosse.

If you are refering to the second SOO engine,(called a bandit) this was origanaly a Milwaukee Road Engine prior to SOO buying them.
