The iPad annoys me. Why? Because its brilliant. I really wish (because I am biased against Apple) that 'Droid tablets were anywhere near as good as the iPad, but in my opinion they're just not (yet). They're all either too small, or not nearly as ergonomic (which is odd because Apple's iPhone suffers in my opinion for its hard angles; why the lovely curves on the 'Pad?), or more often both. Admittedly that's all hardware criticisms - Not sure there's much in it software-wise, to be honest.

Apple is not better than Android, and Android is not better than Apple, it's just 2 different worlds : some people prefer using Apple because it's easy to use and cool, some people prefer Android because it's easy to tweak & modify the system, and also, some people prefer iPhones and Macs, some other people prefer Samsung and PCs... Which is why Open Source is a cheap excuse. The ONLY good Open Source OS is Linux, and even that has it's flaws. Plus, Apple doesn't shit out phones every second. The second you walk away with a Droid it looses like half of it's value. With Apple you can always predict and for see, so you know when to buy a new one.

When Windows 7 beta was released, I was ready to switch, so I got a Windows 7 laptop in late 09 and I love it a lot more than XP. Better security, better interface, and it's quicker and faster. The reason we lapped it up is because it was said to be better than Vista, and I can assume many people agree. I think the iPad is great for watching movies on a bigger screen though.
