I know 2:39 is hard as hell on ice so i wouldn't dare try it on concrete. You guys are kind of crazy, concrete isn't made to slide like that. I have seen some pretty sick in line skaters, and I have attempted to do it myself. Not easy, and for those of you who call it fruit boots? Go fucking die. You can jump off a skateboard or bike, but unless you can freeze time undo your skates in midair and then unfreeze it before you hit the ground, you've got a whole lot of learning to do.

@Victusification and you can learn how to lift something up without it being attached to your feet. it takes a lot of skill to even do an ollie. if you can jump you can jump on skates. the only reason that there are not more professional in line skaters is that the are not that many gay people in the world to clog up our parks. so if you cant get something off the ground without jumping you've got a whole lot of learning to do.

-they are as fast as bikes far more faster then skateboards

-they stop nearly as fast as bikes, can boarders break on 40mph+?

-you can get through the crowd easy, much easier then on bike, same as on skateboard (you will walk)

-handling of steep downhills is modernately easy, for bikers easy, for boarder... they walk

-skates weigh around 4kg, bikes 10kg+, skateboards 4kg?

@rashant2000 checkout downhill longboarding its pretty neat and does show that you can go down pretty darn steep hills with longboard which is essentially the same as skateboard. and longboarders often break at high speeds air break or just sliding the board sideways (special sliding gloves allow them to slide the board sideways in a controlled manner)

what it comes down to in what you choose is personal preference and that mustn be forgotten
