@WeepingWillow2414 I'm not 100% positive but I think it's because the sound of the drums is so loud that she can't hear the guys playing. Most times the headphones play the sound of the singer and the guitars so the drummer can monitor how they sound. I also believe she didn't have in-ear monitors at the time.

@TycoonKennie she is most likely playing to a click track, they play with backing  tracks (efx, bass drops, samples, etc.) she is playing along with the recording and click track. most likely using headphones because a lot of drummers don't like in-ears cause they fall out. i personally use headphones cause they work better.

Outstanding drumming from Jess Bowen. She can really play the drums. Love her style of drumming, liked the way she hit the drum pedals (barefoot) but in the video her left foot hits the floor meaning she can double kick. There's no double kick pedal, only a single kick pedal. Keep my eyes on her drumming and the watching her hit the drum pedals. Anyway she's one awesome drummer to watch.
