Hey what about the icons for iTunes? I tried to look it up on Google, but the link I chose said I could not have access. So I figured it would be best just to ask someone else, (more tech-ish), how to get those back to the beauty of the snow leopard.
Also, is it possible to get Spaces back? I really miss the capabilities of virtual desktops that Leopard/Snow Leopard had. For some reason Apple made it so that you can't move icons from 1 space to another without a space being active. & the thumbnails are too small!!!
God bless you dude lol. Apple changed too much in OS X Lion just for the sake change, & it makes them seem like they really don't know what they're doing. Anyway thanx a Mil, I really hated the ugly Linux-like icons lol.
@jfjkd1965 i did make a video on how to make a script that you can put into your log in items so you don't need to type in killall finder all the time.
Hey, dude, im interested in getting a same hackintosh just with a 6850. Does the osx run nicely, with no problems? Also, does it matter what optical drive you have, since on tonymacx86 i saw in every build they use a Sony Optiarc but i have a unnopend asus dvd writer, could i use that? Thanks :)
@adnanfbs Yeah, my hackintosh runs just as smooth if not smoother than my "old" iMac (late 2010 model). I'm not sure if the 6850 will work, but just google "Hardware Compatibility list Hackintosh" and you should be able to see which cards are supported and which aren't. I don't think the optical drive matters. Tonymac probably just put the Sony one in the list because it's a good drive for cheap. I just slapped my old DVD burner from my old tower in and it works just fine.
@AppSlice Okay thanks :) Yes the 6850 is supported. One more question: I ordered a dual channel 8 gb kit, do I really need to take one out to install osx? Thank you.
@adnanfbs Well, I've installed OS X on my hackintosh several times. The first time, I followed the guide exactly and took out one RAM module, but in the other installations, I didn't and everything worked out fine. You might want to take it out though just in case.
@americanidiot2921992 Yes! All you have to do is run the uninstall file in the first folder instead of the installer, navigate to the second place (/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins) and delete ColorfulSidebar.bundle, then just open terminal and run "killall Finder" again, and you're back!
Like it? I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Is this a permanent fix? I heard that this fix is only good if you don't restart your Mac, is that true?

@jfjkd1965 Well, semi-permanent. It'll stick through reboots, but is removable if you uninstall it.
