any nba player can pass if they choose to but when they pass does the ball hit the mark exactly where the other guy can catch and shoot with out adjusting ; just passing to someone isn't enough in the NBA. Where you pass it to them how you pass it to them is the difference . It's split second timing and touch.

Kidd is so damn overrated...look at his stats if you dont believe me and buy into the hype. They did a study when he was in NJ and yeah he averaged about 10 assists, but the study showed he took the ball up the court almost every time, and OVER 1/2 of his assists were just a pass to the wing after he brought the ball up with no pressure and the shooter made the jump shot...there is NOTHING special about that at all. Jason Kidd doesnt suck, but is WAY overrated for sure. Cant shoot for shit.

@emoon3316 I know this RE is probably a waste of our time but what the heck.All time leader stats, 3rd in assists , 2cnd or 3rd in steals. 1rst team All NBA defensive team at least 6 x 2cnd team more than that. He's not overrated, scoring is overrated dunking is WAY overrated. But don't take my word for it if you could ask 10 current and retired NBA players if Kidd was overrated 20 would tell you they wished they played with him

@emoon3316 do some research before you talk shit about another player. hes more underrated. kidd should be up there in talks with stockton, magic, isiah thomas, oscar robertson. he is one of the smartest players to ever step on the court, and yeah i guess he cant shoot for shit when hes the 3rd all time 3 point made in nba history. you dont know anything about basketball to know kidd does the small things that dont show up on the stat sheet. dictates a team and sees plays before they happen
