The US has 68,000 soldiers in Afghanistan and our forces brought down the Taliban and created regime change. There is less than 2,500 worthless Canadians in Afghanistan right now. Who knows what you are supposed go be doing. A real soldier in the American Army told me that Canadians mostly work in the mess hall or in sanitation. I guess everyone should do their part, but don't ever compare those fags you call soldiers to the real heros in the American military, foreigner.

Canada has lost 146 cowards in Afghanistan. US has lost about 6,000 brave souls in Iraq and Afghanistan since 2001. Since there are 103 times more brave US soldiers fighting in all theatres than cowards (Canadians) - 238,000 to 2300, the figures are remarkable. The US lost 60,000 in Vietnam after 10 years and more than that in WWI after 4 months. The current wars we fight are NOTHING. Most Americans don't even serve in the military. You are a fucking moron.

@KidOfTheEast I know exactly what the foreign legion is. Its made up of 25 % french troops, there for "most" of the troops are French. The other 75 percent are from all over the world. French make up the most of the foreign legion.

I have great respect for the soldiers and what they /think/ they're doing there, but, let's face it - how many know this war is not about schools, democracy, human rights - even drug trafficing. It's about oil and profit. My friend's father nailed it clean: The Taliban said "no oil pipeline", less than five years later - you guessed it - Afghanistan suddenly had terrorists in it, they need to be exterminated, and big oil gets their pipeline. The truth exists, it stinks, and it's not in the news.

The canadian military came to Afghanistan with the wrong uniforms, NATO green vs desert sand. The canadian military had to hitch a ride until it could afford to buy American C-17's.
American troops had already spent years clearing much of the hostile territory before canadians got there.
American troops are still the major dominant force in Afghanistan.
Without the USAF covering yo asses, you wouldn't even be able to brag about being in Afghanistan, ok canadians?
